Slim Bob? That actually does sound kinda funny. Unlike Violet, it wouldn't just be an alternate costume, it would have to be a different character model, requiring different hitboxes, right?

So pumped for Dr. B and Sebastian. I can't tell you how much I love the way Dr. B looks like a good-natured mad scientist. And I do see the sense of slim bob.

I still want to know how "Lee with shades and hair dye" got in as anything more than a costume for Lee.

The rest I am fine with.

That is awesome.

This game just keeps clawing its way higher and higher on my priorities list.

I suppose the same way Panda got anything more than a costume for Kuma, or the capos are different from each other. In terms of gameplay, they're all exactly the same.

It would be really cool if Violet was Lee's T4 moveset, though.

Wasn't Panda/Kuma and the capos always separate characters though? Violet is, again, Lee with shades and hair dye.

...OK, I'll be honest: I am actually psyched to see Violet.

Okay, how are Ogre and True Ogre separate characters? I mean yes, they're completely different, but they're still the same being. The Tag games are non-canon, and Violet was how Lee was in T4, so I guess he counts separately.

So, Violet is obviously Lee, Miharu is Xiaoyu, Slim Bob is presumably just Bob's moveset on a different model, Unknown is herself, and Dr. B is probably an updated version of himself from T3. How does Sebastian play?

And there's no way that slim Bob is going to have a copy/paste Bob moveset. Many of Bob's moves involve his girth, and many of his other ones would be a hitbox nightmare on a smaller character.

Well, firstly, I'd really like to think Voilet, Miharu, and Slim Bob will have differences from the original's, even if there aren't a ton of them. Now, as for Sebastian, he'll probably play like Lili, though again, I'm hoping that he'll play like Lili, and not exactly the same as her.

I think Sebastian could be fun to play as, too. It helps that he's obviously based off of Lili's fighting style. Lili is one of my fave characters.

Is Bosconovitch's model supposed to be reminding me of Busuzima? Because I'm getting a heavy vibe of the other Dr.B from that idle stance.

Which means (assuming he didn't have new moves of his own), he'd be more or less a "downgrade" of sorts from the current Lee, seeing as Violet/T4!Lee was TTT!Lee with a few extra tricks.

@ Beary: Seeing as Bob put on the weight to deal with more powerful characters he had trouble with, I'm assume he'd still be acrobatic, but probably trade in power (and size) for speed/flexibility.

T4 Lee is the best iteration of Lee so far though.....

So, anyone here have this? I'm not getting it until later, tho.

Okay anyways, I'm going to give my opinion.

First of all, Dr. B is looking awesome! Unknown and Miharu were characters that I am not surprised made it in, so not much to comment on, although I am surprised at Miharu's redesign ( I expected her to remain essentially the same)

I wonder why they decided to make Sebastian have the same fighting style as Lili? It doesn't seem to suit him that well for some reason.

Slim Bob and Violet are really random. That's all I have to say on them.

I think that pretty much every single cool established character is now in, seeing as Dr. B has been confirmed, though I am surprised that Tougou didn't make it in. I thought he was the guy Harada was referring to when he said that it was not only going to be returning characters. Shin on the other hand not making it in is no surprise. Looking back now, why on earth would anyone think he, of all characters, even had a real chance?

So in conclusion, this roster is awesome!

Don't matter if you liked Lee in T5/6 better, he was just a better character(gameplay wise) in T4 lol. Hope everyone is enjoying the game.
