According to Cartoon Network's facebook page, they stated that Toonami is due to return January 8, 2011.

I wonder what shows they're going to have on it...

I got my money on that they'll get back the shows they dropped when Toonami went under, plus a few new shows too.

From what I can tell, that's just the page for Australian CN or something like that... I don't see anything on the official US CN page about this. Hopefully there will be something soon.

Toonami had some decent dubs back in the day, but I still think the whole block is slightly overrated.

Did Cartoon Network get new management recently? Because between this and CN bringing back older original shows, it seems like it  *

.

In any case, it seems like good news  *

I don't think this is true as far as it returning because the page indicates it's being broadcast in Saudi Arabia.

The source for this is pretty sketchy. Not gonna believe anything till it happens.

I think should said program return to the states, as perhaps mentioned on their facebook site, what're the chances they might include shows like Haruhi Suzumiya?

Very low. Not enough market for it to be on television in the US. Probably will just be more action titles of varying quality.

It'll be Inuyasha again. All night long, nothing but Inuyasha.

And even then, it'll still take them a year to finish airing it.

They're going to bring back Wulin Warriors, DICE, and the Rave Master dub to air alongside Bakugan on the new Toonami.

Finish airing Inuyasha? What does that mean? I don't think I've ever seen those words used together.

Nope. Right now, it's Bleach, followed by Kekkaishi, followed by two episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist, followed by two episodes of Cowboy Bebop.

Starting at midnight.

I have a message from another time...

Oh, right, Inuyasha was adult swim, not Toonami. Woops.

Toonami was an afternoon thing. Adult Swim is late night. Toonami never showed Inuyasha. Or they might have and then it was moved to late night for flimsy reasons. I don't remember.

Not really - it'll only be shown on a special CN spinoff channel, as far as I can gather from what little information there is.
