At this point, yes PhilosopherStones, we really do owe you an apology in regards to how we've treated you and this whole situation.

We are, and more importantly I am, very sorry for treating your initial rejection from our Discord server in a fashion that really wasn't called for. I should've been much more polite and acted how I should have expected to have been treated myself in a situation like this. For this, the blame entirely rests on me.

But at the same time, the blame falls on us three (myself, Meanken and Makaioh) for handling the situation of your acceptance in a delayed and poorly thought out manner. The truth is that we've had reservations about your being here since day one, but we just didn't act on them. The prior testimony of what multiple people already in game have said about you have made us very wary of you from the start. What we did was try to dance around the issue of whether or not to keep you in, whether accepting you and then removing you would've been good policy, and then hope that a simple "no" would've been acceptable when you asked to join our discussion. This was wrong, and escalated the situation to where it just was now.

What we should have done was reject you outright from the game following a process of ensuring that you are or are not the right person for our group.

I'm sorry, PhilosopherStones, but it's clear that we still do not want you participating.

Therefore, you're kicked from this game, effective immediately. Please forgive us.

Just a friendly reminder. In, ren for any area I’m handling I will be using blue text for certain characters.

That means that you can autohit them! Or control their reactions. Say if it is a merchant you can self serve and buy stuff.

If it’s an object this means you can manipulate it freely. Say opening a door or picking an object without needing me to confirm it worked.

But this is optional. If you want me to control the reaction of the NPC the old fashioned way, that’s ok too! I will do that.

WRT the Meridia quest:

Oh boy, combat time! But having to manually do everything for a bunch of enemies that are kinda... eh... sure doesn't sound like the type of time sink anyone wants. That's where this post comes in!

The corrupted shades are enemy units that require the damage from four standard attacks to kill, or two power attacks. Meanwhile on the "how much does this hurt" front, the archers deal light damage with their arrows, while the brawlers deal light damage with their weapons, and moderate damage with their power attacks. "Standard? Moderate? How can we use such basic terminology to describe a party of over eight characters with vastly different abilities? My guy has a plasma cannon, and this guy fights with a rusty spoon, how does this even work!?"

Level scaling, of course. That's why the damage done to these chucklefucks is relative to your own character. So the damage done to the enemies is proportional to how much effort your character exerts compared to their maximum, regardless of how you stack up against each other.

What's a "standard attack"? Well, whatever your character does for a normal attack for a few seconds - a burst of gunfire, a fireball, an axe swing. For the shades, this takes the form of a normal sword swing.

What's a "power attack"? Some high-powered attack your character does. For these shades, it takes the form of a powerful sword swing. For you it could be that, or a meteor spell, or a megaton punch, or a rocket launcher blast - anything that packs considerably more punch than your usual attacks. Power attacks have the bonus of (sometimes) causing the enemy to stagger!

What's "light damage"? Something minor - just a flesh wound!

What's "moderate damage"? Whatever would happen to your character if they got hit with one of their own standard attacks, that's what!

So don't stick around waiting for me to respond to every little attack you make, just go on in and start writing!

Just, you know, try not to kill everything at once and work with each other and whatnot.

Guys I just passed by to say one thing. I'm really sorry I haven't been around lately. Something personal happened and it went longer than I thought. I'm really sorry for the huge delays.
