Yumil and Gemini are certainly the most socially competent people in all of Nemesis, aren't they?
What is this "signature" of which people speak? It does seem like they're getting along, at the very least.
grahAttention Nemesis players. In the interest of keeping things moving along, I will be switching the dates to the next round on Saturday and bringing in our newest signup. You have been warned.
So, a new little mechanic in Terminus and a new NPC have been introduced to The Tower in Terminus. In case it wasn't entirely clear from my post, I've chosen to write a little explanation here.
Followers
The Tower offers some services to the Climbers. All recent wounds (that is, wounds that the Climber had not already suffered before being taken to the Tower) will be healed upon entry, and all ammunition and energy that may have been expended outside the Tower will be replenished. Lost equipment or damages to larger things such as armour will not be restored, though, and neither will ammunition or similar for new equipment picked up from other Worlds. In addition, the Tower acts as a safe haven to rest and store things.
However, all other amenities and services the Climbers will have to arrange on their own. Either by procuring them on their own...or recruiting Followers. These are NPCs from the worlds the Climbers visit who hang around the Tower, providing various services that the Climbers may need. These can for example be blacksmiths or technicians to repair weapons and armour or magicians to enchant equipment.
What kinds of NPCs can be recruited from the different worlds is up to the Challenge GM of that world, who in turn has to get the okay from the Terminus GM. As a guideline I'd prefer if it was approximately one NPC from each world, but exceptions can be made. The NPC will upon arriving at the Tower can be "bunnied" (controlled to a minor extent) by any player to make it easy to access their services, but it's up the Challenge GM if they want to roleplay them as a more active character.
So, unlike the Nemesis Penthouse and Renaissance Van, the Tower is a lot more empty to begin with, but you're are all welcome to furnish it with what you find in the worlds the Climbers travel through.
Risinn the Merchant
Risinn will take care of day-to-day supplies such as food, water, firewood and minor supplies such as basic healing and magic potions. She will also hunt for specialties from the worlds the Climbers visit while they are hunting Keys, and offer them for sale. And while she's running a business, she's rather generous and will give anyone credit to buy whatever they need if they don't have anything to pay with. Also Risinn has a way with money exchangers and will accept any legal tender or goods for bartering. (Basically, don't worry about money.)
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! So what are the groups for the two different ships in Ren?
Jory and Eorl are going on the the Harbour, there's no way Eorl is letting Jory drag him through a poisoned ship.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Eriana is going to the Invictus; her armor protects her from all sorts of radioactive nonsense* , surprise decompression won't faze her, and her arsenal might be useful for busting through more intransigent bulkheads.

1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxI keep meaning to ask. But does the refill of everyone's ammo in Terminus affect The Kid's spirits?
Hunk'll be changing from the Harbor to the Invictus. He's trying to be more courageous, and his job as a Paladin/ Defender of the Universe doesn't entail necessarily peaceful jobs. He's cowardly and prone to panicking, but he's got firepower and his suit can take a good amount of radiation before being compromised. Also his suit's not likely to come off, helmet included, as that's how he breaths and communicates with others. I just hope I don't make him a complete liability and can write his genius intellect to a way that benefits the group overall.
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.@Alleydodger: Yep, consumables count as restockable equipment.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Sounds good to me, Lem. Of course you realize this means Remilia will be hitting him up for unlimited sippy cups full if blood.
Does that affect Theron's Health Poultices and poisons?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAnd I'm asking this because it traditionally isn't a consumable, does that effect Sumireko's gun when (not if) it breaks?
@desdenelle: Yes.
@wikkit: Since it is closer to a consumable to an actual weapon, I'm gonna go with yes.

It's just never meant good things for her. (read:Rachel)

1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxLeah's gonna go on the Harbor because it's the one Delta's not on PLOT REASONS.
Susan is going to go on the Harbour because while she could insta-win either situation she's got a realistic grasp of how unspacey she is, Seija will show off her techno-wizard powers on the Invictus so she's not on the same boat as susan
I think I'll go Mary for the invictus and Morrigan for Harbor.
All the cool kids are separating their characters and I want to be popular.
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Scott will probably go the cooler more badass route, and pick the Invictus.

Something that just occurred to me...
Sousuke questions a theatre employee owning a katana... On the grounds of practicality. Rather than, you know, the fact a supposed theatre worker owns a deadly weapon!
I'm not familiar with Sousuke, so should I find this disturbing?
What is this "signature" of which people speak? It's par for the course.
Great. Sousuke's put me in a corner. I have no idea whatsoever what the specific type of revolver Gemini uses is, but I think it would be in character for Gemini herself to know.

What is this "signature" of which people speak?I haven't seen it so someone else probably knows more than me, but I looked up the IMFDB page for it and found this entry, is that similar to what she uses?
Otherwise it's not that important to say literally the name in-character, we can just avoid it if need be.
That would've been fun. Maybe take him as a second character? Lem seems inclined to allow them.
