It's more of a device he created. He sucks lifeforce out of other beings to regenerate his destroyed hand- the more energy he absorbs the more control he has over the new hand before it withers away. Also, the device he created needs to refill itself on green power ring juice, and I don't see more than one Green Lantern coming in to fight the villains, so...
Really? I thought it worked on all rings, I was thinking of draining Atro...

Well, you know, you're not gonna get anything from him. The sucking lifeforce thing is especifically so he can regenerate his hand and there'll only be one Green Lantern.
Why not Arthur Parks? Or if you wanna go far and wide, Ultron? Or if you reaaaally wanna hit it out of the park, the High Evolutionary? (with some of his more OP powers removed)
Or the Marvel character renowned far and wide for his hunger...

IIIIIIIIIIIIII have no comment; you survived the first post by a good switch up, at least as far as Armani goes. I could have made a bigger fuss about surviving the ones after, but felt no need.

@Start: Nothing to do with Loki. As Voidborn, Vel'Koz is constantly harmed by sunlight. Which is offset and ignored by his own regeneration.
If he is still burned by light then the blood that escaped would bburn as it's outside his body while the wound closes up behind it.
