So, I just tested out new Viktor. Though I wouldn't really call him new. He plays pretty much the same just better. So upgraded Viktor fits better. Or I suppose Evolved Viktor.

Really, my only complaint is the explosions on augmented death ray are somewhat underwhelming visually speaking.

I'll probably test out new Soraka tomorrow, but eh. I don't think I'll enjoy it as much as old Raka.

Makes more sense too. Why would someone who's obsessed with perfection stick to just one upgrade and trash the others?

Oh, also the new bonus to his autoattack he gets after casting q, I just really really like the animation on that for some reason. Like it's not super amazing or anything, but that beam. I love it for some reason. I kind of think its my new favorite thing about him.

Well, it costs 3K for full upgrades, so I can see that being a problem, yeah.

I dunno how I feel about the new Soraka. I understand why they put in the health cost, and playing against her I know it's not as easy as it could be to dodge her starfall, but still... I worry I'd wind up wasting more of my own health than really helping. And she seems really mana-intensive early, even more so than other sustain champs. I suppose I'd have to try it out, but I hate playing support in bot games to test things. They're so... dumb.

That aside... I played some games as a mid today. I didn't do terrible, all things considered - I was playing with friends who are lvl 30 so both my opponents were a nice 15 levels above me, and the first game I was playing Soraka to see how a theoretical lich bane build works(Answer: Good, if you can make it there). Still, I'm not sure whether I wanna practice mid as a backup role, or just get really good at support.

Yeah, it's neat. Feels... meaty, ironically. Mage auto-attacks always feel weak, but him... "weak... weak... weak... HELLO!"

Not the word I would use to refer to Viktor with his entire become machine thing, but yeah, that's probably why I like it.

I guess we're gonna have to say bye bye to The Ahnold voice set. I have a hunch that they might remove it.

Or in case things get better, they'll give more Arnie quotes. Like maybe 'I'll be back' or 'Put dat (insert a body part that rhymes with two syllables) dauwn, NAUGH!' or 'SHADDAAAAAAPPP!!'

I was thinking of buying Leona but she is banned so frequently it's just not worth getting her.

MOBA's tend to spawn Never My Fault mentalities alot.

Don't get me wrong. I mena, he had won his lane (afterwards, he just sent everything to hell by getting grabbed by the blitzcrank every single time forever and ever. no exceptions. All teamfights were 4v5, us wihtout our tank) but he wanted to spend his life on the enemy's jungle and got angry when he, predictably, died.

Anyways...I think I am set for all supports. I am only missing Braum and Leona, which are basically banned always and forever anyways. I am thinking of buying Caitlyn next, or just more runes, since I should have more variety. What are good runes to generally have, quints and marks and such?

I invested a lot of time getting extra rune pages early one for increased variety. I actually have so many pages I actually have a page designed specifically for Vladamir and Zac because they don't use mana and are so health dependent. Obviously hours had to be sunk to get those pages as well as the appropriate runes but I think it's worth it.

Who bans Leona?

When I play, everyone bans Leona. I've only seen her played like. Once or twice.

My impression of 'Le Blanc' is that she's not actually thousands of years old but a legacy title character thing; where a new person takes over the name every 'x' years. Darkwill maybe the same.

@Aszur, And on a similar note when I tried to get back into ranked games maining as a support I found out that it was pointless because everyone kept banning Braum.

@Kosjurake, But.. How? I mean, I need different ages for mages, marksmen, fighters, tanks, hell, I have a mana runes page for guys like Singed, Zilean, and Ryze instead of my normal mage runes for others. I have two pages that are dedicated to champions that use energy, one AD and one AP obviously.

Yes. Braum is banned all the time, forever and ever.

I have sorta given up on supporting. I have yet to get a decent ADC to pair up with. Well, ok, sometimes I get amazing ones but reall, I am just tired of supporting and getting blamed for the ADC being a mother fucking retard.

Seriously, what can I do if an Ezreal keeps getting hit by Zyra's E or if they eat all of the poke? I don't even dare to use supports that don't heal anymore, simply because they eat so much poke all the time, so bye bye Janna, Lulu, Blitzcrank, Zyra or Lux...the only one I dare to use that doesn't heal is Morgana, which is frequently banned, too
