That is he's the exact same now as he was then.

I'd say that was more a mistake on the artist's part than a whitewashing... Just like with ryze.

Which artist though, the splash artists or the game modelers?

Considering how they stuck with Taric definitely being white now, we can assume the splash artists, though I suppose it would be theoretically possible Taric was meant to be black but the modeler wasn't aware of that and practicality decided a new splash art was easier to do than a new model.

Actually, based off Taric's Splash, I REALLY think that's just very low lighting and not that he's black. I've never seen anything to suggest he was ever black.

BTW, about Ryze being Ambiguously-Brown (somewhat), they're giving his model a rework soon (several months ago, they reported that the model itself was done) so I think we can hope that his textures will be redone and he'll be more black.

The skin colour part was especially confusing but in general I thought the facial features of that splash looked like they were going for a black guy.

I don't see it. His Emerald Skin and Armor of the 5th Age use the same base too and I still don't see it.

Okay, this is one weird game. A game where we're ahead and eventually taking down all inhibitors for quite some time.

Then all my friends disconnected.

It's just me. So I ended up riding on the waves of minion, being Garen and stacking quite a bit of armors and MR... and just when my friends just got connected back... well I already won.

In other news, I seem to be hypnotized with Cholera Ninja's "Be A Man - Xin Zhao tutorial" video so I've been lately jungling with Xin and I... like it! KIAI KIAI KIAI HWOOOAAA.

It's nice to see that he's taken to Bandle City quite well. There's only one huge dent in his bedroom wall.

I like the little Kat and Garen action figures.

Note about the action figurines: They're not fighting, but acting more like a lovey dopey couple. Look at Kat, she's like running and screaming "My loooveeee!" and Garen is like, "Jump into my manly chest!"

I think the real Kat will be totally embarrassed if she sees this kinda figure. Real Garen maybe too.

So am I the only one who thought that Diana could be enjoying Draco in Leather Pants way too much? I mean, I know her backstory and her origin is traumatic and tragic, but right now she's on a mission to ensure that Moon dominates all, not just the Solari, but across Runeterra. And then goes along with her fans saying that the Solari are all genocidal assholes, even if they were also dedicated to protect the innocents (I don't think it's just Leona).

So am I the only one who thinks like that?

Wait, there are people who think Diana is a good person, rather than simply a bit sympathetic?

My only true exposure to the fandom is this thread and the TVT articles so any perceptions that exist for Diana are entirely lost on me. I mean, I was sympathetic to her half way through her lore but by the end I was like "yyyyeaaaaah, you have clearly gone nuts."

A lot of these champs are written in such a neutral manner that their "goodness" or "badness" can be based entirely on the beholder.

I mean, part of the reason why I haven't bought Garen after all this time (besides the fact I would never inflict upon others the hell that was placed upon me by Garens) is because I didn't like him and the whole Demacian knight Templar principles, and yet I have a modicum of respect for Darius because, hey, he has strong convictions and sticks to them under the hope to better his nation and people.

So what I'm saying is that perhaps there is simply a larger segment that looked at both sides of the whole bloody thing and went "yeah, go Diana."

I mean, if I had stopped reading the lore halfway through is be right there with them. The Solari were needlessly dickish as well as theocidal.

Can theocide be a word? It'd be like genocide for religion.

Coincidentally, Darius is the one guy (well, him and Jinx) whom I have sworn to never buy or even play. Not anything Lore-related, but because I heard that he's incredibly toxic, either taking way too many kills from his team (and he doesn't scale well) or purposefully limit his damage output. But that's something else entirely.

I also obsessively didn't buy Annie or Lux because of "I been tortured too much by these Beasts to use them" but then I had some really bad days and some really awful losses and I felt like being really really cheap and so... I broke.

So the list of ones I absolutely will never touch are Darius, Leblanc, Fizz, Garen, Yasuo.... This list used to be longer...

I plan to eventually buy every champion without spending any money. I WILL OBTAIN THEM ALL VIA IP! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

A couple friends of mine who've played the game longer actually say it's a waste of RP to use it on champions, and you're better off spending money on IP boosts. Save the RP for skins.
