Borderlands Is an up coming FPS/RPG for PS 3, 360 and PC. It looks awesome and it has co-op and online play.

Coming out that soon? Wow, the month passed by fast.

I saw this game in Game Informer quite a while back, and I'm totally excited about it.

This is gonna sound nit-picky, but I can't let myself buy this. You know why? It's the graphics.

I hate cell shading, and everything that remotely looks like it. What's more, it looked fine beforehand! Over a million different weapons, RPG characteristics, Mad Max vehicles, I was sold. Then they turned it into a Guitar Hero FPS. Sorry, rant over.

The graphics is really all that changed. The game will still be pretty much the same. It just looks more distinctive now. I will admit, it looked a little Real Is Brown at first.

The game itself looks bloody awesome. I like the cel-shading, myself.

Lots of games interset me right now, but I can't afford any til next month, and I'm kind of tossing it up between Borderlands for PC or Demon's Souls for PS 3.

@Charlatan: The song is also in the intro of the game.

I am outwardly gleeful at the prospects of the game, but I'm waiting for the reviews to make my decisions. Will probably buy it anyway, though.

OMG WANT SO MUCH

Just finished playing for a bit. Notes:

• Probably better to play on an HD TV if you're going the 360 route. Goddamn eye-strainingly small text.
• If that bus driver calls me and asks me to take him to a strip club, someone will die.
• Claptrap is the Scrappy. Why can't I kill it?
• The art style is nice. A lot of personality.
• I can jump into an alternate dimension and kill everyone around me upon jumping out. This is awesome.
• My (automatic) pistol sets people on fire. This is also awesome.
• I'm not sure whether this due to me playing Lilith or if it applies to all characters, but it seems easier to snipe with a pistol than a sniper rifle. The rifle sways too much and the accuracy is frustratingly bad.
• Why can't I kill Claptrap?
• Sniper rifles do make the enemy explode upon landing a critical, though.
• I kind of wish there were more skills. And that there was more than one active skill for each character.
• Still haven't gotten the same gun yet. I have gotten similar, though.
• Why can't I kill Claptrap?
• Having a group of skags run after the people shooting you is fun. Even if they do turn try to maul you next.
• Please keep the doctor away from me mommy...

Man i want this game so bad. I can't wait for it to come out.

I'm debating whether to get the 360 or PC version currently, mainly because I'm not sure if this'll run good on my XPS laptop. Looks really cool.

If you want to play with friends, then it depends on how good their computers are. It has an option for split screen play on the consoles, but obviously not on the computer, so...

It also depends on whether you care about hackers and such or not. It'll be more of a problem on the PC.

Just got a repeater pistol that fires half it's clip in one burst.

It is hilariously overpowered. :P

Its awesome and it rocks. Especially a shotgun that "It shoots freaking Rockets" in its tag line. Picking up Xboxlive tomorrow or Saturday. Just because of this game.
