Hello everyone! This is a pretty audacious third post, I know, but as a long-time lurker, it's the main reason why I've registered to the forums.
I'm going to treat you with a let's play of the Turn-based strategy game SPMBT (Steel Panthers: Main Battle Tank) The game is free for download, and any strategy game fan should give it a try. It's a bit hard to get into, but it's tons of fun.
For this Let's Play, I'm going to generate a campaign of 6 battles in which we will fight with our faction against 3 different enemy factions. I presume the game will pit us in 2 fights against each faction, but I'm not exactly sure how the game manages those matches, so we'll see.
What we're going to have to decide first is which era the campaign will take place in. I, for one, would rather see the campaign happening around the year 2000, but any other suggestion is welcome. We can choose a campaign spanning in a period ranging from somewhere in between 1946 and 2020.
After that, we should try to reach a consensus upon which faction will be the core of our units, and which three factions we'll be fighting. (If your homeland isn't our main faction, don't worry: we can still use your country's units as allies, but they will only last one battle.)
Finally, tell me which name you'd like to have and which position you want, and I'll rename a platoon/tank/SPG commander so you can have his role.
So there. We simply pick an era and factions, and then tell me what place you'd like to have in our badass army.
On a side note, how should I screencap? I'm thinking about using fraps if that's okay with you guys.
