The Walking Dead: The Game

I finally caught up on this. Now I'm a big ball of sad.

I wish there was a way to keep track of the stats better, like you can log onto the website and look up your game and see if anything has changed.

Well, you could just open the game and check.

Beh, the one Telltale game I decidedly not bought and it appears to be GOTY material...

Looking at that chapter title picture, with all of them hanging of the train like, is awful.

I just finished Episode 3 which I took my time on because um...yeah.

Also I think I made everyone hate me except the new guys.

Except Clem. I hope.

Even Ben? Why would you make Ben hate you?

Ben has no business hating anybody. Stupid fuck.

I threatened to throw Ben off the train when he confessed. I imagine Thorn did the same?

I don't think it's possible to make Kenny hate you based purely on episode 3 events, unless you make him kill Duck, which is kind of a really dick move.

Why does everyone hate Ben so much? Seriously. Yes, he stole from the group and tried to bribe the Bandits, but let me ask you this: what would have happened if Ben HADN'T have bribed the Bandits?

Answer: They would have attacked anyway. Look at the barricade at the start of the episode, it's already littered with arrows. The Bandits had been attacking the base before Ben had started bribing them, it would have only been a matter of time until there was a full-fledged assault launched. If anything, Ben bought the group the time it needed to fix the van, and make a getaway. People need to think.

The bandits weren't exactly a challenge in the getaway, and they didn't kill anyone.

I had everything under control just fine with them, and perhaps the walkers that attacked wouldn't have been there to attack right then if it had happened sooner.

The problem isn't the bandit attack. The problem is that his stealing supplies got Carley/Doug killed.

If they had lived, I would be fine with him.

But that's the thing. The Bandit attack was what made the group have to move, and as I said earlier, it was inevitable. And because of that sudden inevitable move, it doesn't matter what happened to the supplies, as the group didn't bring anything with them. It was Lily's fault for being so paranoid, she was the one who killed one of those two. Ben just tried delaying the inevitable, and failed.

Ben should've told someone what he was doing, but ultimately what he did was benefiting the group as a whole. I try to cut him some slack for it.

Exactly. If anyone's to blame for the murder of Charley/ Doug, it's Lily. Everyone always seems to brush over her, even though she's the one that pulled the trigger.

By the way, where can I find that forum where people were writing papers about how innocent Lily is? I really want to respond to one now.

I don't blame Ben for Carley dying. That's all on Lily.

I didn't threaten Ben.

But he got pissed when I told him to keep the secret to himself.

Kenny...I dont know. I tried to be nice with him, even though he hated me for the whole Larry thing.

I tried to calm him down but I could only let him punch his problems out on me instead.

I tried to do that. Then he insulted Clementine and I couldn't do it anymore.

@Dimentio: The problem with that, though is that Lily was only paranoid because Ben was stealing supplies.

They're both at fault, really. Ben for making Lily paranoid, and Lily for pulling the trigger.

Doesn't excuse Lily for leaving all your asses to die with the RV though.

Ben fucked up because he didn't know better/panicked.

I left Lily, so that didn't happen.

... it actually kinda turns the RV into a What Happened to the Mouse? situation. Weird.

The RV transformed and began to train the local rats of the forest to combat the zombie horde. You really should watch to the end of the credits.

My anger at Ben is on principle. The next time he decides to make decisions like that foolishly without talking to someone else first is going to get more people killed. No. More. Fucking. Secrets.

I've just kind of lost empathy for everyone who is left besides Clem. It's all about her at this point. The persian guy is nice and all, but he's fodder. He's going to die. His girlfriend is a total bitch, she's like Lily, but instead of going hot all the time she's hot and cold. One second she's all like "YOU DID WHAT WITH CLEMENTINE? ARE YOU STUPID!? It will definitely benefit her in the end, it was a good decision." She needs to die.
