I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!edited 18th Oct '16 7:36:43 PM by LOLypop1224
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Well I'm just thinking no one would contract stupidity and just stand around waiting for him to transform if they assumed he only had one transformation.
Regarding the Kienzan: I assume that it's a generic Ki blast, flattened out and spun to make it flatter and sharper. The stronger you are, the flatter you can make it and the thinner the edge becomes, increasing its effectiveness linearly, relative to your Power Level. Going by this assumption, Beerus can probably make a Kienzan an atom thick, and Zeno can make a Kienzan capable of slicing quarks in half.
This. He also demonstrates after Krillin cuts off his tail that transforming regenerates the damage. So ultimately it would have accomplished nothing.
Quite. See above, re: dodging it is child's play. Even when Krillin has the full element of surprise:
- He has not been involved in the fight with Vegeta yet so there's no reason to suspect he's there.
- He throws it from behind Vegeta while he's distracted with Gohan.
- Vegeta has not yet learned to sense ki.
Vegeta still manages to dodge the thing. Its cutting edge and ability to damage foes far more powerful than Krillin is an impressive feat, but ultimately it's still very limited in usability.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.As I've said before: it is the Super Saiyan Grade III of techniques. Potent, but only a fucking idiot would think it's going to hit its target.
It seems like the sort of thing that would be more useful as a modifier to melee attacks. Like, a sharp blade made of ki. If you're going to be fighting someone up close anyway.
Which is why the Ki sword is a thing. Only a few people use it though. Vegetto in the anime, Salza in the Cooler movie, and Zamasu in Super.
Anime? Vegetto uses it in the manga.
Even then, you'd need to be fast enough to hit your opponent.
If your up against someone like Frieza, then you likely shouldn't be getting up close to them anyway, because he's kill you in seconds.
I can see where Krillin was going with it: A technique that can, in theory, kill an enemy regardless of how high their power is through it's cutting force.
But as so many have pointed out, it's too damned slow to do anything.
I still think the Solar Flare / Destructo Disk combination is a good idea. Sure, it won't work against Frieza, Cell, and Buu, who can survive being cut in half *the former), and regenerate lost limbs (the latter two) respectively, but against nearly anyone else, I'd think the first technique would nullify the weakness of the second one since the Solar Flare works on everyone.
In fact, they really should be using it against Black and Zamasu. Though with the skills those two have, they'd likely dodge anyway.

One Strip! One Strip!Besides, wouldn't most of the villains be able to sense the Kienzan's energy without needing to see? I know the early Saiyans and Freeza wouldn't but everyone else would probably think "Huh. Giant energy skewer. Let me get out of the way before I can feel my intestines."
It's been 3000 years…I think pretty much anyone in the PTO not named Lord Frieza would be screwed by a Taiyoken/Kienzan combo. Androids 17 and 18 too.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Krillin and Gohan both managed to hit Frieza with punches and kicks at various points. If those strikes were augmented by a blade they would have cut Frieza.
Granted, Frieza can survive being diced to ribbons, but still.
I know Gohan laid a beatdown on Frieza that you could dance to (Get it!), but I don't re call Krillin landing any physical hits.
He did score a tail slice with the aforementioned Kienzan / Destructo Disk, but that's about it for the amount of damage he inflicted on Frieza.
One Strip! One Strip! The Adventures of Puddin' begin!
...Yes I know there's a different thread for their gaming content, but we posted Xenoverse 1 in here so.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That was way back when we didn't have a different thread for their L Ps.
I don't have a problem with it, since Dumplin is officially canon to DBZA, but I believe the Xenoverse 1 playthrough ended before we created that thread.
I mean, before we created the gaming thread we only really posted their "two saiyans" "renegade for life", "krillin plays" and the Xenoverse playthrough in this thread specifically, because those were their gaming things that were most related to DBZA.

God dammit.
I have no intention of watching this (I got sick of their Xenoverse Let's Play's pretty quick because they were too into their damn jokes and not actually playing the game, even if they apparently got better later).
But I do wonder if they'll reveal Pudding is someone in DBZA like how Dumplin turned out to be Poppo. I doubt they'd pull that joke again, but I can't help but wonder anyway.
One Strip! One Strip!I will admit, them adding "bits" to each LP is definitely Love It or Hate It, like their PC suddenly becoming a cannibal in Fallout 4. That's why I was kind of happy when Slowmara died in the Soul Silver Nuzlocke.

-obligatory table salt joke-
But I agree, I don't really enjoy their LP's. Tried to watch their Dragonball Fusions play and gave up 10 minutes later.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I don't have an issue with their jokes taking up the Let's Plays. I'm here for the personalities, not to see them playing well.
Shit.
I forgot about that.
This fucking series sometimes. It's keeps refusing to conform to my expectations.
One Strip! One Strip!
