Uh, this thread is for Dragon Ball related stuff, not Naruto. :P
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseMurosaki is a ninja and he's in Dragon Ball.
Q.E.D.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Murasaki was a pretty poor ninja.
Or as Goku one put it:
You are a ninja of little integrity.
One Strip! One Strip! So like... Japanese Kid Goku has a better vocabulary than Dub Goku? Or was that a translation gag?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Actually he said that in the dub. Though the dub of Dragonball I watched was another Ocean dub I believe.
I just find it funny.
One Strip! One Strip!I missed that one.
I never knew if Ocean dubbed Dragonball. There was a dub that had the old "Goku, he's here to show you, he's gonna help you find the way!" song that definitely didn't have the FUNI voices but I never checked.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!The dub that changed Blooma's underwear into dollars...heh.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. When you're 7 these changes don't even phase you. Then you look back years later and wonder why the hell you have the boxset.
That said, the scene where Yamcha did his Wolf Fang Fist for the first time was actually pretty epic in that dub.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I was actually very unhappy with that remix. The original was possibly the best track in the Funimation soundtrack; this one just felt... dull. Like, the instruments were less distinctive and didn't mesh right and stuff.
but HOW?I'm still jizzing over the Cell Games announcement theme. Glad to see Taka getting overruled about the Faulconer music. That stuff's good.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI thought Kaiser was the one who had a distaste for it.
Anyway, I normally don't like remixes, but I thought Super Saiyan Vegeta's theme was pretty good.
Yeah, it's Kaiser. He grew up with the Japanese version of the anime so he prefers the original score.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Oh right. Sorry Taka. Kaiser's the one who's totally wrong.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyKaiser doesn't even hate it, he just never grew up with it.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I find the plagiarized tracks for Kai to be the best Score for DBZ personally.
IIRC, he sometimes exaggerates his distaste for it for comic effect, which is what I'm doing.
Speaking of plagiarism, I actually do prefer this:
The only DBZ music I really remember is the cheesy opening.
The Budokai series really had the best music. It's so disappointing to learn that it's all plagiarized, and we won't get that stuff again.
More so that we won't get it in games again. It doesn't take much to get me to throw my morals out the window.

Since when did you have morals?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHe's got a point, fuck copyright Budokai's soundtrack was on point.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
I was also just doing exactly that, so yeah, odd timing.
