Actually he said that in the dub. Though the dub of Dragonball I watched was another Ocean dub I believe.

I never knew if Ocean dubbed Dragonball. There was a dub that had the old "Goku, he's here to show you, he's gonna help you find the way!" song that definitely didn't have the FUNI voices but I never checked.

When you're 7 these changes don't even phase you. Then you look back years later and wonder why the hell you have the boxset.
That said, the scene where Yamcha did his Wolf Fang Fist for the first time was actually pretty epic in that dub.

I was actually very unhappy with that remix. The original was possibly the best track in the Funimation soundtrack; this one just felt... dull. Like, the instruments were less distinctive and didn't mesh right and stuff.

Anyway, I normally don't like remixes, but I thought Super Saiyan Vegeta's theme was pretty good.

IIRC, he sometimes exaggerates his distaste for it for comic effect, which is what I'm doing.

The only DBZ music I really remember is the cheesy opening.
The Budokai series really had the best music. It's so disappointing to learn that it's all plagiarized, and we won't get that stuff again.
More so that we won't get it in games again. It doesn't take much to get me to throw my morals out the window.
