Immortality ain't all it's cracked up to be these days. The immortal phoenix died because Roshi forgot to feed it, if I recall correctly.
I have a message from another time...KaiserNeko explained why MasakoX isn't Master Roshi after episode 31 came out on his Tumblr.
I remember something about tainted birdseed.
Yeah, it was feeding bad birdseed rather than forgetting to feed it.
"I can never read that guy." Ha. Tien's actually in a lot of episodes in the Cell Saga. I wonder where they're going with this.
Also, it's been a while since I've watched the series, but I think Cell might show up in the next episode. Nice.

Dragonball Z.
Am I a good man or a bad man?Krillin plays Dead Space. Fire is apparently bad.
^^^ Yeah, I think you're right. The next episode should be investigating the mysterious second time machine while Piccolo fuses with Kami - the second of which immediately segues into Piccolo meeting Cell. Unless there's an even in between there that I'm missing.
I can't wait for Nail's reaction to seeing that guy get absorbed, since Piccolo's probably going to be too stoic to give us a real "holy shit" reaction.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. As amusing as these episodes are, I feel like the pacing has slowed down a little. I'd have expected Piccolo and Kami's fusion to occur within one episode, not split between three.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Yeah it's going slow than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. They know why people are watching, and so like someone else said are focusing more on the funny than the abridging.
...The last episode was like 40 minutes of stuff from the show done in a little over 10 min.
The pacing was always kind of fucked.

A few pages ago we talked about how this point in the show was always going to be slow - there's a lot of important tidbits of information (and/or fights) that happen back to back to back at this point, so there's not a lot of room to skip or fast forward.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.True, even this episode while feeling kind of fillerish, couldn't just be skipped over, because it would throw the flow of events of big time. Plus, even if it does feel like padding, all of this, except for the Chioatzu part actually wasn't filler so yeah.
Edit: And on another note, filler real or imagined isn't necessarily a bad thing.

There's also the bit where the episode seem to be coming out a lot faster these days, so things aren't actually progressing any slower.
Helps that the next few episodes that'll be abridged don't have much in the way of fighting until Cell is properly introduced, so Kaiser has less to worry about editing wise.
Still not over the fact that Goku's mom Gine worked at a meatery.

Live your life.
See, in normal DBZ I'd find those episodes unbearably boring, but here I'm actually looking forward to seeing how they make the humor work better in a less action-ish part of the series.
One benefit of the quicker update schedule is that I'm more able to recognise the callback jokes, without haveing to rewatch the episodes.
Am I a good man or a bad man?Well, yeah. You can't expect her to fight! She's got a vagina!

My various fanfics.Did you guys ever notice how much this scene
Or...a Hostage situation, that Freezer was happy to be apart of.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.It basically is. Frieza molested Vegeta's childhood. The trauma he underwent in Frieza's care twisted his mind and soul and forced him to become a planet-killing monster, murdering billions in Frieza's name.
Imagine what he could have been if Frieza had never entered his life? A planet-killing monster, murdering billions in his own name! We must mourn what could have been for this brave soul.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I'm not sure the Saiyans would have had space travel.
And, well, even if they did, the Saiyans never seemed big on ruling things. Their main thing was being the strongest. And also eating.
I mean, they'd cause a lot of damage trying to pick a few fights, but taking over planets, completely eradicating all the occupants, then selling them or using them for themselves isn't their style. At least, not at the scale Frieza was doing it at. I mean, they'd probably eventually blow up whatever planet they were on, and then end up having to find a new one, but there would be a lot of generations in between there.
You remember correctly, but in the Daimao arc he said he lied about the immortality elixir after knocking out Tenshinhan. Of course, he did just tell Tenshinhan that because he drank the elixir he can't be killed by Daimao, so he might have just been lying about the nature of immortality than about the elixir itself. I guess it's ambiguous.
And I'm also talking about DBO's present. He's alive in Age 1000, the present setting of DBO.
