Hey, haven't posted on here before, Steam name's Asphidel (same as on here). I'm in the group(s) already.

Anyone feel like a match at Thunder Mountain on Friday?

Out of curiosity, how does one get in these matches? Just look here for the info or do you have to join a Steam Group?

You don't. Set hasn't paid the costs in a while, so the server currently does not exist.

In that case, should I remove the notice about Troper-Only matches from the Team Fortress 2 page?

Well, you can always just join some random PUG server and invite everyone on there, or something. There's also all those clans like Lotus who have public servers up 24/7.

Someone could also host a temporary server for troper games.

If you're interested in jumping into an existing server, I'd go with No Heroes (I'm there more than I'm on my own clan's server at the moment, sadly) they have servers set up for specific maps so you can jump from one style to another as the mood takes you, I'm usually on Badwater/Goldrush payload rotation, but sometimes jump onto Dustbowl (yeah yeah, I know) or even 2fort. They do kick players randomly if the server is full to allow their paid subscribers entry, but it's a pittance and even if you do get kicked you can usually bounce back on straight away unless it's peak time.

What about Fug? Their servers are usually pretty good from my experience.

Now that Team Fortress 2 is free to play, can this be revived?

I have graphics issues to figure out right now. All of a sudden it started going to a blank screen and looping audio at random intervals, including when relatively little was going on. Switching to a windowed program and back snaps it out of it, but it takes long enough to get dead.

That seems like a pretty common thing with the Source engine. Maybe update your drivers?

(I think the problem was that I did update my driver...)

Does anyone has the attendant or ol'snaggletooth? I have blackpaint/dye.
