I have a new favourite thing: tier 9 tanks ignoring my T29 (even if it is to deal with other threats) and dying for it. I know it's a small thing, but getting to hunt E-75s and VK4502(P)s and IS-8s and such in my T29 instead of running from them like a bitch is always fun and brings me great satisfaction from the fact that even though I'm two tiers lower, I can still put the hurtin' on the big tier 9 tanks.
Good for you. I, apparently, always is most wanted target in battle. Somehow. 50 100 among other? Catch artillery shells and KV-3 strike. ISU? Artillery and shells. T-28? Shell. Lowe, KV-3, IS? Shell. T-44/T-54? Oneshot ammo. 704 near other 8 and 9 tanks? First to hangar. Aggggrh.
"See the goal, believe in yourself, ignore the obstacles" - CharodeiThat sucks. I know personally I usually aim for the biggest tanks I can find since I know the guys near em will have the hardest time with them.
I'm baaaaaaackIt's not uncommon for me to get annihilated by invisitanks when I poke my head around the wrong corner as well. In a T20? Enemy arty goes straight for me. In the bottom non-scout tank? EVERYTHING shoots me and I explode.

That, or the enemy magically gains the ability to shoot through walls or hit the most improbable spots on your tank to cause damage. It happened to be once on Lakeside against another M3 Lee: the guy managed to kill me despite the fact that I was using one of the hills as cover and had my body fully hidden around the corner. Only way I can imagine him killing me like that is either
- A) He somehow managed to get a visual on the top turret or my tank, and then take the shot,
- B) Major lag, resulting in me inadverdently exposing myself, or
- C) The game glitched and allowed the sucker to shoot through walls.
Lee is high, so I think A is reason.
"See the goal, believe in yourself, ignore the obstacles" - CharodeiCurrently grinding the hell out of my KV-3 because that KV-4 research price seems crazy low and like it'll inevitable get jacked up.
Brother switched back to GW Panther on the test server. Apparently, you can drive up the side of the hill on Mines if you've got enough speed going for you. Surprised the hell out of that scout.
Fight smart, not fair.A couple pages back. I feel the pain of the SU-85 grind to the 107mm. It was agonizing to say the least.
Who watches the watchmen?Well, I am just disgusted. Enemy Tiger survived losing (our AMX 12t capped for Invader) and all he could say was "yay, no repair bill". He had no kills. Tiger is not credit to team.
Ooh, a 33,850 cred defeat + Steel Wall. That was hella fun. Vehicle was KV-3.

How exactly do those badges work, and where can you find a list for them at? Do they give you extra points, or are just for bragging rights?
Funny fact: ST-1 was supposed to be rapid fire tank with 16 shots/min. Even more, improving it's ideas, there was ST-II. Main feature of latter - 2 guns◊. Heh, reminds me◊... Wasn't made in metal, but many different people said that it can become very good tank. Only problem was: designer didn't had factory attached to him.

"See the goal, believe in yourself, ignore the obstacles" - CharodeiThe badges don't really give you extra points, but you get bragging rights and they usually come with lots of points because of how you got them. If you look on your stats, you'll find a list of them at the top that scrolls over.
Fight smart, not fair. You can also see them by vehicle earned on your stats page and in crewmember histories (though those only record Battle Hero medals (Steel Wall, Sniper, etc.) and Epic Achievements (For instance, Kolobonov's Medal or Halonen's Medal)

My crew on ISU is 85% (old is on 704). Cliff. I went trough long way, assisted superpersh kill IS-3, then killed enemy arty-6, Ferdy and JT-88, then returned to the base and killed Superpersh and KV-4 (who were capturing base, hooray to our superpersh and Type, heroes-defenders), and then, when last enemy remain there was real suffering: 2 shells and 1 enemy with 300 hp. Pragmatism won, but still...

"See the goal, believe in yourself, ignore the obstacles" - CharodeiThe history of Wargaming.net and how World of Tanks came about. Quite interesting.
With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars. So, fun shots: Annihilating a T-50 with the KV-2's 152mm gun from about a third of the way across Widepark. Pulled about ten metres of lead and vaporized his poor tank.
I didn't know that they were the makers of Order of War. Speaking of which, has anyone ever played that game? Is it worth getting now, especially since it and all of it's DLC is only around $10.00?
Hey guys, I got a question: does the amount of exp you win per match ever increase once you get to the higer tiers? Somebody I knew mentioned earlier that it spikes up considerably once you get to Tier 6 and beyond, but I've also heard lot of folks bithcing about the immense grind required to reach the last two Tiers, so I'm not 100% certain. Anybody care to answer?
Exp is determined largely by damage dealt, and higher tiers do more damage, so yes, higher tiers tend to produce more exp. However, after tier 6, (as in, starting with tier 7, premiums not withstanding), income doesn't go up much and ammo costs and repair costs skyrocket.

So it's not a very big jump then. Man, how do you guys even put up with the grind?

I think the multiplier might also increase.
Regardless, it's usually because we want the next tank.
And also because at high tiers you are significantly more likely to be master of your own fate in a battle, as opposed to dependent on those heavies over there not to derp out.
Nous restons ici.WOO! Researched KV-4. Now to grind 2 million credits.
thus far, realistic with simple controls. just point the mouse and go. or use arrow keys, youve got options.
I'm baaaaaaack
