[up][up] Generally speaking, the Churchill I is eh (because of its exposed tracks, compared to the VII), but without the HV 75mm, it is outright horrid.

I am not liking the first two guns too much and I feel you on the very exposed tracks. The tracks lead way too much. I do get some ok bounces and it takes a bit to drop it though. Just wish the guns had more oomph.

Therefore, the HV. The HV has the best pen out of any tier 5 heavy gun, has an OK RoF (12.5 shots/min), amazing accuracy (.36) and good aim time.

I noticed that. I am looking forward to it.

I want to test my 76mm on my T-49 though I have yet to get it into a fight. I was just happy I unlocked it and my upgraded engine in the same night. I blew so much cred it was nuts. But I have been making ok cred back with the Tilda, T-49, and the "Russian Big Love Gun" on the KV-2. I have an SU-85 that I am rusty on use though.

Guys, I have a question. I have both the KV-2 and the T-150 researched and eventually I'll be getting both, but I wonder which should I buy first, especially considering you can research the T-150's 107mm on the KV-2 and the T-150's grind is reputably bad.

The KV-2 is not a bad tank. A bit high profile with the barn turret and a bit slow but it has some fucking powerful guns available. Do the KV-2 First to get an easier unlock for that gun barrel.

You'd largely be wasting your time if you're just looking to move up the line, as the KV-2 is just sort of a sidestep from the T-150, and I'd assume the stock grind on it is really no better than the T-150's. However, if you're not concerned about how long it takes, the KV-2 with the 152mm howitzer is a lot of fun for just derping around in.

I wouldn't know about the T-150 grind (I got it for free and basically elite in the old KV (and KV-3) split), but a KV-2 with the 122mm howie would be pretty weaksauce, too. Still, get the KV-2 and commence maximum derpitude (152mm HE or bust).

Seriously, there are few things as fun as the KV-2. Every 20-30 seconds (depending on crew skill and equipment), you are basically the Death Star to everything below you and still horrifying to everything above you. Even tier 8s will often be irrationally cautious around the might of the 152mm trollcannon, and due to this and how HE works, even when you're bottom tier, you can easily rack up impressive damage without even having to flank (just stay towards the back on lob HE like a direct-fire arty).

Speaking of the line, I like my KV-3 and KV-4, even if I'm not very good with them. I still miss the mighty (and historical) 850 horsepower engine the KV-3 had for all of one patch after it was split before being nerfed down to 750 horsepower. And the KV-4 is basically a Soviet KT once you have the long 107.

I love how quickly I have seen even Tier VIII's do the oh shit backward shuffle coming around a corner and looking at the Russian Love gun. I had some success with putting a camo net on it and waiting patiently for something stupid and zippy and getting them on the spot.

Boy get ready to piss some people off with that gun to.

The KV-2with the 152mm is fucking awesome: it scares whoever I point it at. Now, does anyone have any links to a mod that expands my garage slider? Because I now have 19 tanks in my garage, and it's tedious going through them.

Fine, I'll be that guy who roots for the T-150. (hate you guys )tongue

Either way it's a bit of a drag for both tanks but again the T-150 will move you up the tree, compared to the KV-2.

Again, lot of components work in each other, but leveling in the T-150 (I think) will be a bit easier due to it's stronger armor and faster turret.

Now back to your derp gun loving

I looked at the t-150 i have most of it researched from KV-2. The sacrifice is worth it. The KV-2 really isn't a bad XP grind. It is getting into he next tier that sucks.

You need the tank carousel then — it's included in most mod packs though. Both Sela's mod pack and Rezzie's use it, if I remember right (the latter less cluttered than the former).

Well, it seems I'll first buy the Old King of Derp and get the T-150 after I'll get the 107 from the Derpstar.

I found the T-150 to be mostly a painful grind, especially given how bad the stock equipment is. It's too slow, too bulky, and the starter guns are horrid. And even the best gun it can equip has issues, so the moment I elited the tank it was out of my garage immediately.

Well, I had and am still having fun driving the ATs, so hopefully, combined with getting the 107 on the KV-2, I won't hate the grind that much.

I have my KV-2 fully researched and I only have one gun, one turret, one engine, one track, and the next tank not researched. Both the 122 and the 107mm are already there because of going through the KV-2 before the split for me.

So, my Jagdpanther reached elite status today. What would you guys recommend me for the next tier? The Ferdinand or the Jpanther II?

The Ferdinand because it existed.

I just thought that the armor difference might not be much in practice, since the Jpanther II has it sloped.

[up] As someone who played the Ferdi, the armor on it isn't at all what it used to be. The armor on the Jagdpanther II works just about as well because of the sloping, and its far more mobile. The only reason to go for the Ferdi is that the gun arc is much wider, 15 degrees to either side if I remember correctly.

Man the clanners seem to be really obnoxious lately. Only thing worse are the numerous bots
