I would have loved a Persona 5 LP (even regarding spoilers) but I guess a reaction video and countless podcast weeks of "DUDE PERSONA 5 IS SO GOOD" are...alright...too, I guess.
Opening a third slot for Persona would've been the way to do it, as someone who skips the Dark Souls playthroughs, but at least the subreddits won't be crawling with unbearable levels of waifuposting.
Besides we all know Makoto is best grill.
Maybe they could take us through an LP of Persona 4 Golden?
I was genuinely worried they'd kill themselves doing Persona, so I'd say it's a blessing in disguise.
Their Yakuza Zero LP is pretty cash money so far. I was worried they would catch up to the point I am, and I'd have to stop watching, but it really doesn't look like that will be the case.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Batman: The Telltale Series is over. Matt and Woolie declared the game "good".
Did the next David Cage movie come out yet?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Damn. Guess we still have to wait.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Batman suffers from the same Telltale problems of railroading but I do enjoy their willingness to mess with the canon, plus the Bruce sections are generally well done, and even when the plot founders it's still fun to joke about. On the whole I'd say it's a step back up.
Their Dark Souls LP is finally over. It was a fun ride. Next should be the last Dark Souls 3 DLC.
Yeah, which they'll either stream or do another LP for.
I'm actually kind of impressed Woolie beat Gwyn in one shot, though considering how much of a Mighty Glacier he was I'm not really surprised. Plus he had Solaire helping him.
People in the comments of previous videos were saying that Solaire would link the flame if Woolie didn't, but that didn't happen?
Ah.

You couldn't see it because he phased back into his world after the battle. Time. Convolution. Etc.
But yeah, it was from an interview, not the game.
Best Friends Play Night in the Woods. I have never heard of this game. I don't get the impression that it'll be very long.
Yeah, How Long to Beat says 8 hours, so it could be a 14 part series.
As someone who has played neither the Dark Souls nor Yakuza series I'm kinda glad they're done with the former. Was really reaching Arc Fatigue. But I'm looking forward to the Daily Yakuza Episodes due to all the wackiness.
Honestly, as much as I hear about the elitism of the Dark Souls fanbase, outside of tongue-in-cheek trolling in a few high-profile players' videos, I haven't really seen any of it.
Maybe it's because I mostly stick to the Reddit pages for them. The Bloodsouls-related subreddits seem tailor-made for players helping players and just generally being a relatively caring community.
but HOW?It's there. In the comments. Lurking.
But it's mostly evident in people who get unironically salty over Pat and Woolie's mistakes, which doesn't jibe well with the culture of ironic shit-talking that the TBFP fanbase revolves around.

As someone who's played Dark Souls in full, and is ass deep in Yakuza Zero, this is the best thing for me. Their DS LP was super solid, and Yakuza Zero has been just belly laughs.
Yakuza Zero in particular, since I've completed most of the sidequests for that game. Without spoilers...guys, there is a lot of the stupidest shit.
For the unawares, Night in The Woods is a story-based game, in the vein of Life is Strange. It's an asshole college drop out coming back to her small town, realizing that everyone's changing but her, and also murder mystery.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018It gets really dark and heavy, too, not just in the plot but in all of the characters' backstories.
I believe Liam streamed a playthrough of it. Curse that Rising Superstar and his undercutting ways!
Yeah, Liam played it, but Matt played it first and apparently recommended it to him.
Also Woolie apparently is missing a lot of the dialogue because he's not exhausting everything.
I'm a little unclear as to why Sega keeps making Yakuza games, but they never got around to making Shenmue 3 until that kickstarter. I mean, at their core they are basically the same kind of game, right? Or am I missing something?
Thank you for finally answering why you dislike their Dark Souls LP's.
