The legs look weird, though its hard to tell coz the scan is terrible.

Eh, I chalk it up to this being a blurry leaked document. We should get proper images come April, when Takara plans to reveal big stuff like Masterpiece and Missing Link.

I'm just glad we're getting Super Ginrai. I thought we'd have to wait some time after MP-60.

Wonder if we'll get God Ginrai. After all we never got a MP Victory Leo for Star Saber. So there never being an MP God Bomber wouldn't be weird.

Heck, we still don't have an MP Galvatron, Cyclonus or Scourge.

Takara's releases are fucking weird. It still baffles me that we've had MP Skids before Galvatron or Kup.

Speaking of MP-Alike, got transart toy's MP TM Tarantulas. The spider mode doesnt hold togheter super well, but damn is the toy a looker. The robot Mode is just peak.

Weird thing to say when Armada Megs has been repacked and is on shelves.

(Also bold to assume I visit physical stores? What is this? 1970. He's not in stock on any online store and if he was I aint paying 50$ CAD for a strictly worse version of the original)

Place your bets of what we will see in Transformers One

I think we might see the robots transform at some point. I dunno, it's kind of a longshot.

I know you're joking but considering none of the non-grimlock Dinobots do it on screen in the Baymovie, can't even take that as a given.

Not even that, the vast majority of transformations have been relegated to off-screen. Hell, even in the first movie Optimus' and Bumblebee's first transformations were off-screen. I'm not sure if Optimus even transformed in TLK but I'd be shocked if he did it on-screen.

• Sure enough, MP-60 Ginrai is based off the original Ginrai toy with red eyes and distinct leg detailing, plus his Godmaster!

Takara has revealed that Ginrai will be the final masterpiece in the line's current format. The MP line is ending with him, with future masterpieces being part of the MPG line (Which Super Ginrai is coming out of and Raiden was a part of). It's not clear what this means exactly for future Masterpieces. As MPG's entire thing is Masterpiece Gattai (ie: Combiner), it raise the question if we're never seeing standalone masterpieces.

So it's been a ride. MP-01 came out in 2003.

Got Cybertron Starscream. He's really really great. Love that he's got a Cyber planet key. So posable and excellent in hand. Had to get him away from my dog though, she left some teeth marks on him.

Actually, Takara established that the "G" in MPG stood for Gattai, Great, and Giant. So now that MPG will be the main MP line after MP-60, MPGs won't necessarily be just combiners anymore.

The more I look at MPG Super Ginrai the worse the figure looks?

Why do the super mode arm stick out so much of the trailer. Neither the OG toy nor the cartoon have this? the arms are flush with the top of the trailer. Here they stick out like an entire inch above. Who on the design team went "Yeah this looks fine". His combined mode proportions look so weird with the arms being somehow too thin and tiny compared to his giant torso and huge legs. He also looks really awkward to pose, no ab crunch on the combined mode, weird shoulders. The whole thing looks weirdly low quality.

Also the weird pricing decision to have the toy-version cab be one MP but you need to buy the cartoon two set to get the trailer and apply stickers on it if you want a cartoon super ginrai (and be left over with an extra ginrai you didnt want). That's just... wut.

It doesn't seem like a story about "this is how the war started". It seems the story is more about how Optimus and Megatron learned how to transform in the first place and started to explore the surface of Cybertron.

Also, are they bringing in the Quintessons? I saw a tentacled guy in there.

I'm not so keen on the quippy modern MCU humour, but there's a lot of lore mined from the franchise here, will need more than one rewatch to catch them all.

Im enjoying them doing something more different. Color me interested.

I am liking how they made the planet itself look, reminds me of the Cybertron games.

Hell yeah. Not what I expected, but that might be a good thing.

Also Elita One is badass.

I dunno, I'm liking what I see. Animation looks good, story sounds interesting... Can't help but feel like they had used most of the good jokes in the trailer though.

A lot of deep cut references in this. Loving that Megatron has his Marvel comics head.

The dead 13 is also interesting.
