Hm. I think I agree with Mikan. I don't like Mea. It's a bit sad that we get to see so little of Lala. In a manner of speaking.

PS: The day Celine gets an aged up form that joins the harem is the day I quit this series.

In other news, Rito has the most chemistry with Mikan for some inexplicable reason.

I think there was official art for an aged-up Celine put out...

I think that chemistry is mostly of the actually brother-sister type. Or at least that's what I'm insisting on.

I wouldn't mind this becoming more horror-ish. Might be fun. What wouldn't is . I want to see more of Yami, though. And Lala. And Zastin and Saki. And the Kotegawas.

It's complicated, because the chemistry is definitely brotherly from Rito, but not sisterly from Mikan. Not saying I like it, because I prefer the old Mikan who just walked over the romantic nonsense with a subtle snark rather than joining in, but it's the way it is now.

Oh, a Haruna chapter. I don't particularly like her but it's nice to see more of the original characters.

Looks like this was a pretty major chapter in terms of the harem plan. Now that Haruna is fully aware of a perfectly viable out to her concerns that Lala was thinking of all along, you really have to wonder how she'll act from now on.

I'm not sure Lala was thinking of it all along.'' Haruna assumes as much but I get the feeling it's equally likely that Lala, who never cared about court romance and whatnot, would be as in the dark about it as Nana.

But Lala's the one who brought it up in the last chapter of the original To Love-Ru, and her mentioning it is what reminded Momo that the option existed...

Japanese teenagers don't seem to be allowed to have any alcohol tolerance. She was fairly drunk, but not absolutely shitfaced. So I'd guess it's not that strong.

Has there ever been a protagonist more ignorant in these matters than Rito? How can he really not notice?

Please, there are protagonists so dense they don't even get direct confessions. I can think of two offhand. That guy from Lovely Complex (which I never finished) and Haruhi from Ouran.

I'm not convinced that that's actually more dense than what we have here.

Oh yeah. I even read such a thing a few days ago (Pajama Na Kanojo, I think. Or was it Kanojo Na Pajama?) where the protagonist essentially repressed the fact that he had been confessed to, by taking the most chaste possible of "daisuki" he could.

I dunno, Gilphon. Haruhi is person that takes "I like you, I want to be with you, please go out with me" as "Man, I wish I could have gone to that cool school too." And the guy from Lovely Complex actually laughed off the confession since he thought it was a joke. And he did it for months. There are some impossibly thick characters out there.

Luffy, Sagara Sousuke, Hibiki from Vandread (although he had a damn good excuse)... there are several, actually.

I didn't know a couple of those, but Luffy's not that bad. He has the excuse that he doesn't have potential suitors coming at him all the time, only the one, and she's almost never nearby. And she's timid about it.

Episode 10. Was a while since I read the manga. Is the anime still the manga but moving and noisy?

Mini-Yami is so cute. I usually don't like small children in anime meant to be cute, but I'll make an exception here.

Mikan should know better by now. Those two wouldn't do anything. If anything, Rito would accidentally do something, but in that case, Yami would react before Mikan could do anything.

Sometimes I wonder if Yami even believes it herself when she calls Rito her target. When she thinks that he shouldn't defend her when he knows he is her target, it comes off as kind of weak.

But not nearly as weak as "It's sexual harassment!" coming from her. With that look in her eyes. And in the same scene, I almost expected Yui to shout "Objection!" Had she pointed, she'd have said that.

Yup. And censored.
