I would vote for Paul Atishon.

The contradiction with the supposedly Japanese orb being certifiably Khurainese took me some time to figure out

Question about Turnabout Revolution: If Maya was channeling Dhurke when we saw him in Japanifornia, then what was inga blackmailing Phoenix with, seeing as Maya was with them the whole time? Was he just bluffing?

[up]He wasn't bluffing, he was just unaware of her escape. By the time they left Kurain, Maya was a prisoner, which Phoenix presumably confirmed. They then travelled to Japanifornia for the big court case. Then Dhurke freed Maya, died in the process, and made her promise to... I'm not sure exactly any more, but it involved channelling him and going to Japan. Maya kept up the channelling until she was outed during the revolutionary case, so no one could know where she actually was after her escape.

Maya's promise was to channel Dhurke so that he could spend time with Apollo and to keep the fact that Dhurke was dead a secret from him.

[up]Well, that pretty much puts a bow on it, doesn't it?

This may be a slightly unpopular opinion, but I don't really feel bad for Godot when you take him down in Bridge to the Turnabout. He may have done it to save Maya, but he had left a situation where murder was the only option, and seemed to want it to happen that way.

[up]Well, yeah, that's pretty much the entire thing. They basically spell it out for you. His desire to protect Maya was sincere, but he selfishly wanted to do so in the most stupidly dramatic way possible, more or less to live his fantasy of saving Mia in the nick of time.

It's kinda messed up.

Yeah, the game does kind of spell it out for you, but most people I see and even the characters kind of see it as somewhat noble at the very least, or at least somewhat sympathetic. This might by my misinterpretation though, but when Phoenix presents that last piece of evidence (very popular opinion: this remains the most epic moment in the series a decade and seven games later) my reaction isn't "You've made a mistake, Godot, and it looks like I'm going to have to indict you, unfortunately" but more "get rekt Godot, 'you'll never be half the lawyer she was' you say, well I'm twice the lawyer you'll ever be!

I may be too harsh, but those were my thoughts the last time I watched the ending there. He's probably still the most sympathetic final boss in the series, but that really isn't saying much in a lineup that includes such wonderful human beings as Manfred von Karma, Kristoph Gavin, and Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in.

Still, it was, technically, justified self-defense, applied to a third party - idk if there is such a thing in Japan/U.S., but I believe there is. I still don't quite understand why he was presumably convicted. The only reason I can possibly see is that "I wanna save Maya in a badass way" bullshit, but even then...

I think the stunt Diego pulled is enough to qualify for reckless endangerment.

He could have taken any number of really number of really simple steps to prevent her from being in any danger in the first place.

[up][up] If we go by that argument, perhaps we may have a case. I know the original plan was to wrap everything up there and finish the story once and for all, but it's shameful that we don't seemingly have a way to save Godot from execution, except for maybe insanity shenanigans. And, even then, it doesn't really seem he wanted to get away with it. Maybe some channeling would be due, now that Maya is officially "in business"?

I believe that Godot died due to the fact that his body was a mess, not because he was executed. I believe he likely would have got jail time if he didn't, but execution would be uncalled for.

Hey a friend of mine is having an issue with his copy of Dual Destinies. He's trying to download Turnabout Reclaimed, but it's not bringing up the DLC page. It just quits back to the main menu for him without loading the store. He can still access the eShop. Is this an issue that's common, is there something wrong, and is there any other way to get it? (Region is Malta)

Sorry for double-posting but I feel this should be in a post of its own.

SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO...how would a Ace Attorney game work if you played as the prosecutor? How does a Ace Attorney trial work from the prosecutor's perspective?

Which is true in Japan. Prosecutors have to bust their asses to make their cases absolutely tight.

Hey, I remember doing that case! It was a couple of years ago in Qatar at the park.

I got the bad ending my first time. And I had to use a walkthrough for the jar.

Meanwhile, have you guys heard of the new installment of the Steel Samurai that's coming this year? The story looks good and the main actor give off a nice "refreshing" vibe. I think Nickel Samurai's got everything necessary to be a big hit!
