I think it would have been nice to have some breather arcs that took place in the human world in-between the big time arcs that took place in Soul Society; as it stands, Bleach just keeps escalating after Soul Society and only really slowed down in the Fullbring Arc, only to escalate once again because its the final arc.
I don't necessarily think the pre-SS time was better, but I did like how small scale things were. It really was a simpler time and I did like Ichigo and Rukia's dynamic.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's probably a nod to the 12 Divine Generals and their leader, Tamonten, the God of War who is as bright as the burning sun. Later on, the Medicine Buddha is in charge of them.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Would these dudes also be known as The Twelve Devas?
Or am I confusing the two groups.
One Strip! One Strip! The Digimon guys? The inspiration probably comes from the same source, yeah.
I think the Digimon inspiration came from the Hindu Gods. The shinigami are probably more inspired by the Japanese versions.

Secret SignatureMore a Boddhisattva than Buddha. Ksitigarbha may be a possible source of inspiration, along with a little bit of Maha-Mayuri thrown in just to be quirky.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI don't think the size is justified because Kubo could've just increased the size of each squad rather than create more squads.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."That wouldn't have the same effect, and that wouldn't solve the character problem either.
Divisions exist for the sake of management. More divisions give the sense of a need for greater management, even if that's not necessarily true.

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youDidn't he flip their skirts during the first Grand Fisher arc?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI only remember him revealing himself as an awesome Shinigami.
Nothing else.
NOTHING ELSE.
One Strip! One Strip! This is the reason Yuzu is screwed up in the head
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! It doesn't take much to make Isshin hilarious or incredibly inappropriate.
The sad, REAL American dichotomySo the chapter's out a bit earlier than usual.
WHERE
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youMangapanda.
I'd say it's pretty good, a quick read but entertaining, especially Shunsui's bankai at the end.
Chap-motherfucker.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. That was like. Four pages long.
wtf.
Also
Kyoraku's bankai!!!!! asldkjgao;iwejlkmfsdfjiogknrawelif
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youShadow Theatre I think? At least,I think Matsu is related to theatre.
Secret SignatureWell, hardly a surprise there, so I guess I'm more interested in Urahara maybe finally actually fighting for once, even if his opponent is just Hawkman and it's a 3v1.
It should be like 5 vs. 1 actually.
Okay, three people who matter vs one. There are two other people there?
Technically its six people there...unless Nanao went back after Kyoraku.
I feel like I should be more excited, but I kind of anticipated this. So I'll just wait to see what it actually does.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
Guessing its a little bit of nostalgia there but admitably ya gotta wonder what Kubo planned to do before he quicken the pace to the Society arc.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
