Well I'll be damned. I have no idea who decided to romanicize his pen name as "Tite" instead of "Taito" but I kinda hate him now. Even if it was Kubo himself. Especially if it was Kubo himself.

I actually did think it was pronounced "tee-tay" until that was brought up >.> . "Tite" being pronounced "tight" did not seem right at all. Taito makes sense, but I have egg on my face from whenever I laughed at that pronunciation...

The irony is outside of Jackie, Bambi, Candice, and Hikifune

Kubo really hasn't introduced his usual stample of lots and lots of hot buxom females which he is"allegedly" known for -No all of Nimaiya's Zanpaktou don't count-

and really only Hikifune counts toward the Titty nickname.

It sounds pretty tight to me.

Kubo's name isn't supposed to be "Tight." It's written in kanji and hiragana meaning it's a Japanese word, not a load word (which are basically always written in katakana. The kanji for "Taito" is 帯人 which mean nothing together but the kanji can be read as "Belt Person."

I think she beat someone once who didn't know her shikai became sand.

That would be Kira.

That was Kira and other than the big Arrancar, that's the only fight she's won AFAIK. Hell, that only worked because her shikai was a perfect counter to his own (it's ash not sand. Btw is ash weaker than sand?)

Actually I think it was Yamamoto's Lieutenant who has done worse. Even the one time he tries to attack Ichigo he beats him before he can use Bankai.

Also Aizen's former Lieutenant that he messed up mentally.

@Alekos: Indeed. It was time, given the conversation earlier. I do wish that I could have this and the full body images in the correct hair color. If someone wants to find it for me, that'd be appreciated.

@Omega Radiance Momo's definitely gotten better. She saven Ran from Harribel's Fraccion. Not onlyhas Rangiku gotten worse at combat, but I'm not even sure how useful her shikai ability is supposed to be. I would have given her the fire Zanpakuto while Momo got a wind based one.

Rangiku's track record is okay. She beat Kira, a fraccion aaaand I think there was a third person but I don't remember who. She lost to Allon and I guess Bazz but those two are way outside her weight class. She was doing okay against the Tres Bestias, well enough that I figure she probably could have beaten any one of them.

That's speaking entirely in terms of fighting, mind you. She's a decently important supporting character to people like Gin or Hitsugaya.

But I still don't like her.

Edit: I think her blade is supposed to be the same sort of idea as Byakuya's. 75934739 tiny little blades. Pretty sure it cuts.

Her shikai is just like Byakuya's but theoretically harder to block because tinier cutting thingers.

In practice, yeah power gap.
