Well Bach kinda just disintegrated him with over 9000 beams of light.
That was several pages into the chapter, quite a while after he sliced him.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Maybe old man Genocide just died of old age
Grr, this dropped off my watchlist again.
Anyway, holy shit things are getting intense. I hope Ichigo's finally going to arrive.
Oh and I agree with Cru, Yamamoto died before Kyoraku sensed it. Probably had his heart cleaved.

Mangastream's version is out.
About the chapter, all I can say is: Wow.
I guess this time there won't be any arguments over whether or not Yamamoto is really dead.
So Juha wants to force the Zero Division to appear. The guesses that his real target is the Soul King might turn out to be correct after all. Also, good move on his part to weaken the SS defenders by sending in the Sternritter alone, and sending the Mooks later, when most enemy forces have been destroyed (or at least weakened).
Anyone wanna place bets on whether Kyoraku will live or die? He got shot when he was distracted by what was happening to Yamamoto.
And it looks like Ichigo finally broke out of that cage and arrived... or at least I hope so.
I think he's still alive. We haven't seen his Bankai.
Heck yes Oth Division. If this is indeed the final arc then Bleach is going out with a bang.
When you put it like this Kyoraku's survival is almost guaranteed (though he'll end up badly wounded).
Anyway, I hope that Unohana is finally going to fight now. Especially since she is likely one of the original members, just like Yamamoto.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I so hope she kicks ass...
I guess that list of characters to die might be accurate... where is it?
I figured Yama, or his body, was trying to use Itto Kaso, same as last time. I also think Kyoraku might be dying/dead.
This is... dark.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy.....- slow clap - goddamn kubo, well done.
I know im one of the ppl hopin yama would die, just for dramatic effect, but holy shit he actually did it. Kubo aint fucking around anymore.

Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny.Lol peeps are mad because Yama's death wasn't dignified and a "troll". With all these hints that Yama was a complete monster at one point, it would be easy to assume that he wouldn't be getting one.
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92Soldats reminds me of certain military organization.
My President is Funny Valentine. We can't really trust either side's story. Still, Young Man Genocide would've been interesting to watch. And by interesting, I mean gruesome.
So if Ichigo was war potential, he'd have the chance to be stronger than that...
Also, just what might Uryu have to do to stay relevant...
I wonder just what kind of thing the Soul King is... if the leading armies are like this.
Who might the other war potentials be?
If high end power levels weren't an issue before...

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI'm guessing Ichigo and Aizen are both war potentials. Juhabach is wary of the former and tried to recruit the latter.
Juchabach actually spelled it out that Aizen is one of the "special war potentials". Don't know why he regarded Ichigo as one, though; he has every reason to protect Soul Society from the Vandenreich and to refuse an alliance with the latter.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. He's outright said that Aizen and Ichigo were war potentials. Royd confirmed Kenpachi.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.& Oh, I missed that.
To save face, my next guess is... uh... Kon. Yeah.

I believe we were initially told there were five war potentials, and now we know the identity of four.
Also: As much as I want to believe As Nodt and Nanana are alive, that's still not confirmed yet, it just became more likely.
Four? We got confirmation that Yamamoto was not one of them.
What?
/goes back and checks.
Hmm. You're right. That's what I get for reading the chapter right after waking up, I suppose.
Damnit. I am glad omg got called out for not getting his arm back. Buckbeard's words reminded me of Bane's "victory has defeated you"
Alas...
Would love love love to see the founding days of the gotei.
Can someone point out specifically where the potentials are confirmed/hinted.
I am calling now: a transmutation circle the size of the seireitei.

Uh, Hyori survived being cut in half horizontally for at least a minute while Hachigen came over to keep her stable with his one-handed Kido. I would expect Yamamoto to do better than that, especially since the diagonal cut doesn't seem to pass through where I would expect his physical heart would be (would having his heart destroyed even stop him from staying alive for a couple of minutes? I mean, it's Yamamoto, people!).
