Skeleton horses are suppose to be tamed by default. When you find a new one the four horsemen spawn. But it sounds like the skeleton riders are rendering right.
Wait, wwwhhhaaaatttt?!
Oh my god, I have a skeleton horse mount, this world is awesome.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984The floating skeleton is a visual bug. The skeleton is actually riding the horse, but for some reason it is rendered as being in some other random location.
I started a new world in Minecraft. The seed is fairly nice (Mesa and Mushroom Islands side-by-side), but it was a long trek to the nearest village. I planted some crops for the villagers to encourage breeding. One of the butchers started harvesting crops, then a cleric joined in.
Last I checked, only brown-robed villagers harvested crops. Now, every villager is doing it, even the baby villagers. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but it helped me breed the villagers extremely quickly.
I just had the coolest thing happen. I'm working on my base, then walk around the corner and see 4 skeleton horses just standing there. I approach and then each one spawns the four horsemen (each on their own skeleton horse). I end up running around my buildings avoiding skeleton's arrows, using the fortifications I though were only there for looks. After all is said and done, I have 11 new skeleton horses.
Don't build at night, that's an obvious thing
Building at night is fine. Just don't go too far from your base and be cautious.
Two guys walk into a bar, the third guy ducked.I suck at killing mobs so that probably changes my opinion on the matter. If you really think that sleeping would be a waste of time and you aren't going to get repeatedly killed then sure build at night all you want
Interesting.
Apparently it's a block you can't step on, otherwise... you'll take damage? I assume.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*To the people that recommended Thaumcraft to me: it was really fun, but I think I ran out of ways to enjoy it. Or rather, had hit a block.
A lot of the stuff requires an Infusion Altar. How do I infuse? How do I infuse safely? Should I be worried about environmental damage? Er, I mean, flux. What about the crucible, how do I minimize the flux there? What happens if I don't, and how large is the margin of error?
Also, since I've been playing Thaumcraft 5 (that's the one for 1.8.9), how different is it compared to the previous one (for the 1.7.10)? I'm mostly concerned if it would be more tedious or not.
Rather than smart, I'd prefer to be wise. It would let me be silly more often.Neat! I remember playing the buggy mess that was Chocolatin's Better Dungeons mod back in 1.4 and those were probably some of the coolest features of it.
Which troper was the one that has the moving castle?
Two guys walk into a bar, the third guy ducked.I have made the decision, for various reasons, that I will no longer be running Ravendel. I am also most likely signing off permanently from Troperville, it has been a pleasure getting to know all of you while playing Minecraft together but RL has been pulling me away more and more. I'll still have my teamspeak up and various modded servers if anyone ever wants to check them out they can pop in and ask. Have fun all, hope to see you around here or there
Thanks for the good times.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Wait, so the troper server doesn't work any more? Where am I supposed to play easy-difficulty vanilla survival without 10 year olds now?
Anyone have a good 1.9.2. survival server up? And by that I mean one people are actually on.
...Looks like Illumine is going to stay my best shot then.
H.B. WardThat's pretty cool, and whoa, dresses IN MINECRAFT?

Minecraft: Chinese Edition
But no seriously, Minecraft is coming to China.

There's a skeleton horse in my castle. I forgot these even existed. Pity I can't tame the thing...but maybe I can wrangle it into my monster zoo.
Oh shit, the game is freaking out. There's an invincible passive skeleton floating and now a skeleton horse is aggressive and shooting arrows.
Woot, got it tagged and in an iron cage—SKELETON HORSE (Ossis Equi).
