Huh.
Wait? What if I used mine carts?
I don't think you'd be able to place lava using minecarts.
But I could hold a moving construct, right? One that could dump lava?
Just let it go dude.
Desperate for feedback, please visit Troper Page for links! So, it looks like PE is getting a huge ass update to bring it more in line with PC version on Tuesday.
Some of the new features:
- Interact button (make creepers explode, shear sheep, etc.)
- New world generation: Old (current limited generation), infinite, and superflat.
- All biomes from PC 1.7.2 (shrunk to fit 128 height limit).
- Cave generation.
- Port of PC 1.8 world generation.
- Villagers, wolves, enderman (no enderpearls), slimes, mooshrooms, silverfish
- All structures that occur in PC 1.8.
And something I hope gets brought to the PC version:
Oh, I remember. At work, this girl was playing Minecraft on a tablet right next to me.
I was tempted to say "If you have some shears you can get rid of those spider webs", but even as young as she was, I thought that was too obvious. ;p
Gralien: I did let it go. Someone else brought it back up and started talking about it. Don't be rude.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

You know what just started to annoy me because I just started getting involved with them? Outdated mods.
I go through the trouble of downloading and installing it and it turns out it doesn't even work on the current version of minecraft.
I'm also slightly miffed at the surprising lack of native gamepad support on the PC version, but I found a way around that hassle.
The official Minecraft forum has a list of every mod available for the current version of the game and every mod I've encountered says what version it's for.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I know that now.
I somehow didn't for the five minutes it took me to download the thing, though.
That happens sometimes, with me. My brain just completely turns off.
I like that guy. And not just because he looks like Notch.
Petercraft has had its RAM halved (20 -> 10) and for economical reasons I am removing one of the worlds. Either Greendale, the default world, or Cloverfield, the amplified one.
At the moment I am keeping Greendale because we have an amplified world on Ravendel and it's less of a load on my system. I will be posting Cloverfield for download as per my tradition. If anyone wants me to keep Cloverfield instead of Greendale, speak within the next hour.
EDIT: Here is Cloverfield, as promised. Petercraft is once again a one-map server.
EDIT #2: It would appear that any items you were carrying have been lost and you've been sent back to spawn. Any homes that you set in greendale should still work. I'm bringing that Dynmap back up for a few days so people can look for any lost builds. Sorry for the inconvenience. Remember to set your warps.

This too shall pass.I know it was probably mentioned somewhere back in the thread, but what version is the current troper-run server using and what sort of plugins does it have?
Taking the server down for an internet install, will let you know if my IP changes.
There are currently two semi-vanilla Troper servers in addition to 1 or 2 heavily modded servers.
There is New Ravendel, which is close to vanilla. It is run by Redwhitenblue, version 1.7.9. It runs basic economy plugins to allow for trade and player-made stores. It also runs mcmmo for the fun of it and classicbonemeal because the bonemeal nerf is an unforgiveable travesty.
Petercraft, run by yours truly, is 1.7.9 and, in addition to everything Ravendel runs, runs Factions for additional intrigue and Essentials to allow for easier transportation.
Swampertrox runs an FTB server, but that is discussed over in the Modded Minecraft Thread.
This too shall pass.Thanks!
I've just been toying around with Bukkit plugins recently. Trying to see if I could possibly create a sort of hybrid survival/adventure map that has dungeon "adventure zones" scattered around the world. Proving to be a little more difficult that I initially thought thanks to certain plugins I used to use being somewhat out of date.
Correction once again, New Ravendel is still 1.7.5. There is a 1.7.9 bukkit beta build, but I have not yet updated to it yet, I'm considering adding world guard to avoid terrain generation issues. I'm also in the works of adding a roleplay server. Our new internet is up and running, new IP is 72 dot 234 dot 190 dot 16. If someone could test it for me to make sure they can still get on I'd appreciate it!

Unless it's still down I can't personally get on. Don't know if anyone else has sent you stuff about whether they can or not already.
Creepers: They're like raptors except they explode. Thanks, I'll look into it.
I've gone into the router settings and set up port forwarding (not a nice menu system like we're used to with Linksys stuff), and even a port-forwarding site says that the default port is open... but it still doesn't show up for me when I try to go through the internet route. LAN mode is great... but that only helps me, not anyone else.

Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold. Our friend was able to connect through the external IP so it should be good to go.
Can confirm. New Ravendel is up and 100% ready.
This too shall pass.
I'm pretty sure that, because Dispensers are also tile entities, you can't move them with pistons. Your best bet for self-moving contraptions is probably going to be mods.
