Short comic to announce the Kickstarter◊. Billy West and Jim Cummings? Really?
They have managed to line up some very good people to work on this. I really hope they make the goal, but at the moment I seriously doubt it will - just under 20% funded after 11 days.
Yeah, that KS is dead.
Plus, as a fourth-level cleric Forgath's summoned monsters only stick around for about 24 seconds.
Apparently the Kickstarter is cancelled as well, and now there's an Indiegogo instead.

I admire his ambition. But is there a demand for this? I mean, most "adaptations" come from a completed work. Maybe he's just bored with doing the comic (I mean, the same thing for 10 years is going to get dull, especially when you know you aren't near completion)
And I don't see there being an end state in sight.
So how will an animation ape that?
He'd have been better off doing some weird 2d RPG with a modular campaign for Mobile.... that's the medium people are going for...
Yeah, an animated series isn't something I ever wanted from this webcomic. I just want to keep reading the story.
I gotta say, Ears's hand is looking much more present than I was expecting.
YAY the ship isn't sunk
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI suppose there'll be some sort of explanation for this Contrived Coincidence?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"You mean other than the Jade Teapot that teleports the user to the location of a person of their choice?
What matters in this life is much more than winning for ourselves. What really matters is helping others win, too. - F. Rogers.Well, shows how complex this story is that I forgot about that.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That, or how long it takes between updates. :P
What matters in this life is much more than winning for ourselves. What really matters is helping others win, too. - F. Rogers. It's still Contrived Coincidence in that it happens with a previously non-present delay at exactly the perfect moment to screw up.
Plus, this means she didnt return to her village. I wonder why not?
Probably because she feels bad about Minmax?
Took her long enough. I wonder what changed her mind?
Right before he left, she saw his bloody knuckles and gathered that he'd told the truth about "seeing" her.
She probably left the teapot somewhere she could recover it easily. Or ahe soed to her village and then drank the tea?
Yay, another train of emotional pain coming down the lane.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Update. Kin correctly identified the door Minmax chose, but didn't get the door he actually went through.
Goddammit, the Murphy's law is strong with this one. I suppose it wouldn't be Goblins if it weren't.
Looks like a giant squid to me.
