Pretty sure dizaero was the one who stated in the video comments that the game was locked to 20FPS, which he got from Axikal (the video recorder), but which was firmly rebuffed in the comments - and by Axikal himself, as he admitted that later videos he recorded got over the low framerate issue (something to do with him streaming the game to the Skype group he, dizaero and I are a part of at the same time as recording the early videos - wouldn't know, though, since I presumably sat out of that particular call).

I also know that slowbeef has since bought a copy of Afterfall: Insanity, as that's also something Axikal brought up - either in said Skype group or on Twitter, I forget which (both?).

I'm vague on details beyond that, so anything more would be conjecture. You'll forgive me if I stick with what I know to be concrete.

Gaming while using Skype is a terrible idea. Skype is a massive resource hog.

[up][up]I'd imagine the people who tend to do that while also streaming must have massively powerful computers or something.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

I don't understand the point of this game.

You'd think that at some point he'd go "gee. Maybe I should just head back and report. I may not be the best person to handle this." I mean, he said to the other guy that they should have gone back... and then that guy died...

Come to think of it, why'd he tranq the soldier instead of the crazy person?

Nothing he does makes sense...

apparently the soldier killed the crazy guy outright

not that I could tell from the way that cutscene was shot

It's also impossible to tell the crazy guy was killed from the animations.

A new Kickstarter Nonstarter! It's video-game-based. Probably. It isn't.

Hey, it's no laughing matter; two-dimensional rings are a bitch to get at when they fall between the couch cushions.

The most bullshit, unfun puzzle yet, ridiculous enemies, tediousness.. sounds like more of Afterfall!

It's like the lead developer intended to have the monster's intro cutscene be a big moment for his horror game's vision, but then the level designer ruined it by dumping a few in earlier to avoid repetitive enemy types. And that person would probably be making a sensible decision... if not for the fact that the fish-men act exactly the same.

Or that, let's face it, the fish men look ridiculous.

I really hope slowbeef's wife hides the fireaxes in their house somewhere he can't get to them. He gets so excited every time he sees one.

Alright, Slowbeef, I'm gonna assume you're reading these comments and speak directly.

First, why did that Silver fight give you a C? It's because if you can manage to aim Silver's throws properly you can finish it in 5 seconds. Just grab everything nearby and super machine-gun table attack him to death. It's glorious.

Second, I'll admit to being a bit disappointed in you guys holding out on the second Iblis fight. It's really something you need to see to believe, which can be easily said about everything in this game but that particular boss fight is pretty special in how utterly monotonous it is.

Third, I actually find the time travel to be relatively straight-forward in this game. It's just that the writing's so utterly shit it makes it seem more confusing than it is. Though one of the Chaos Emeralds does get stuck in this paradox loop. And then there's the ending.

Fourth, it is amazing how much this game can haunt. It, like, stains your very soul, man.

Anyway, keep up the good work! We're praying for you here! [lol]

Does this song not sound exactly like Flashman's Theme from Megaman 2?

Also, I'm not sure where I've heard it before but this part of the vs another character song sounds very familiar.

[down] I'm like 95% sure you're supposed to throw the missiles at the boss. Since they're so light they fly much straighter than the boxes. Though the targeting for Silver is still crap.
