Edit banned/Suspended - would like to edit again.:

This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who a received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.

For a fun site, we're pretty fussy about stuff like grammar and spelling, for example. More than you would expect, considering that we do want the funny. Everything is better with the funny.

Leave a note here indicating you want to talk the suspension over, then hang in there for a bit. A moderator will be along to talk to you about the situation.

My goodness. You're talking guy who slaves away to make this whole site possible and that's the attitude you're bringing?

Other tropers breaking the rules is not and never will be an excuse to do the same. No-one owns any wiki page, nor do groups. The rules that are in place for Fan Fic Recs were reached after discussion. We don't care much for threats.

Hello. I would like to know why I got edit banned. I'm not sure what happened. If this has anything to do with me creating different accounts, I forgot the password to my main.

My IP address does change every few months, so maybe it just got caught in a crossfire.

You are back on posting, after being banned for attacking your fellow tropers. You promised to be cooler. We'll see how that works out before letting you back on the wiki.

I'm glad to be able to read again, but I don't really know that I'd like to be unbanned. I might wish to discuss the option in the future, but for now it seems like a good thing, for TV Tropes and for myself.
Subjectively, there's a fine line between a Troll and someone who lives just to piss you off.
I know I stink at spelling. But as I said before. I will at least try. And I do go to the get help with English site. I'm sorry for the last Miko edits. I just think she short of counts for the Rescued from the Scrappy harp. And the Base breaker

I'm sorry, but you've demonstrated that you're still unable to make good edits even after being warned about it. I don't see the value in allowing you to edit.

Fine. But I just want to ask. In the past people people that was banned. Where allowed to. To go to the ask the tropers. But now they can't? What happened? And what if one of them saw something. That was bad and know it? Where would they go?

I'd like to edit again. I'm usually, I think, pretty good about realizing that I need to keep natter to the discussion page. I just forgot a few times lately. Sorry about that...

It's not just natter, but oddball things like talking about sex dolls on Stupid Jetpack Hitler and forgetting to use proper formatting when citing work titles. Also, we don't need you to tell everyone how perverted and monstrous you are on your troper page.

It's not apparent that you're a match for what this wiki is about. I'm willing to give you a second chance, but only on the condition that you cut out the creepy stuff. This is the kind of thing that gives TV Tropes a bad reputation in the Internet community.

ok, I'll stop being creepy.

I don't exactly get all your critiques (is Himmler getting scientists to make a sex doll not a real life example of the nazis being ahead of the curve? If not in natural/mechanical science, than conceivably social science. But I digress and will defer). Also, if a list of places where I've forgotten proper formatting for work titles is given, I'll go and fix them.

I'll also take out the "monstrous and perverse" bits from my profile... er, if I can edit again

I will endeavour to, if nothing else, keep in mind when what is normal to me is creepy to others, and then not do it.

When you remove YMMV items from main articles, you need to put them on the appropriate subpages. You should not just delete them.

i guess i should not edit since english is not my native language, and what i write could be written better in some other way? Is that the reason of ban?
 
Checking the reason for your ban, that seems to be the case. There's an english help thread you can run desired edits through before making them. Would you be willing to use it before editing if unbanned?
