This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

OK. Sorry about that, though I should state for the record that one of my fixes got reverted as well and it just gets confusing after that.
How about if one of my posts get deleted, I don't repost it.

The point is, don't just re-add something that's been deleted. Take it to discussion, PM the user to talk it over privately, even take it to ATT if there is no consensus being reached. But don't engage in an edit war. Releasing your suspension.

hey guys. got suspended again, not sure what i messed up on this time around ( i still have a bad habit of making edits whilst extremely fatigued/sleep deprived),hoping its just a case of my on-and-off bad grammar flaring up again
You're exhibiting the same set of spelling / grammar and Natter issues that got you suspended before.
That suggests to us that your prior suspension was ineffective in correcting your behaviour.

- edit* or is it a persistent issue im having across almost all of them? my memory is somewhat foggy about the edits I've been making the last few weeks due to my sleep patterns being knocked out of whack.

? i thought the acknowledgement of the grammar errors was implied. sorry. are there any other mistakes ive been making in general, or mainly these two recurring faults in my edits?
Considering you are still demonstrating the poor grammar that got you suspended, twice, we will not be releasing you for the time being.

The only reason they were saying that was because they didn't believe that a parrot has the same level of communication skill as a human. It's one of those cases where there are two different assumptions, and neither side has hard evidence for their own.
That does not mean you get to try and force people to accept your interpretation.

You've got some other questionable edits, such as what you posted on Video Games about how troping them "destroys their realism". Given your post in ATT and these other things, you seem to have some extremely weird ideas about how reality and fiction interact. I don't think we want you editing our articles unless you cut this out.

Hello. I was suspended and I am not quite sure why. The only thing I can think of is that I kept correcting another user's minor factual error - and politely sent the user a PM about it - but that was weeks ago. Was it anything else I might have done?
