I read a bit of Ozy And Millie several months ago
I want to pick it back up

I recommend it.
Precocious is a good comic also.
Let me tell you
About homestuck
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I tried getting into it. I really did, more than once. But the bad spelling was too much of a turnoff.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIt is very much intentional, but I can understand being put off by it.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Yeah, I know, and I tried to look past it. I have some minor dyslexia issues, though, so the plot-important pesterlogs make just as much sense to me as a random plgjfnh of letters.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerOuch. That sucks.
I personally enjoy Homestuck, but I'm stuck at like, Act 4. I just keep forgetting what's going on.
Song of the Week: Find You by ZEDDThat is really, really unfortunate. I am genuinely sorry. u_u
Act 6 is easily the most labyrinthine, but Act 4 is probably harder to get through solely because of how frequently Hussie pulls the chronological rug out from under you. This resolves after the Interlude and the mechanics of the overarching chronology get clarified by Act 6, but it's still a bit of a puzzle-box. I mean, when I call Homestuck a postmodernist doorstopper with pictures, I am not exaggerating in the slightest. It is indeed Pynchonesque.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception. So the new trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy has given me... "Feels" for Rocket Racoon.

"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!""Oh look, the furry thread has a new post."
*Instant regret after seeing newest post*
To be fair, Rocket is amazing and I love him.
Insert something witty that makes me better than all of you, here.I'm unfamiliar with the series/characters.
Characters can be all the amazing in the world they want, but I didn't sign up to hear about peoples boners. I thought we were more civilized here.
Wow...I don't know how to respond to that.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Furry Fandom's Broken Base in action.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerWhat. Is it wrong to want to avoid "TMI" in this forum?
Evidently you have a stricter definition of TMI than I do.
If he'd been like "the new trailer made me want to (insert terms more suited to the Nunnery than here)", I might be more understanding.

I just don't like hearing about how people feel in their privates.
Keep it, you know, private.
And it being the first new post in this thread for a while was kind of weird.
But disregarding that now.
Is it weird that TV Tropes is maybe 90% of my interaction with any fandom?
Quite possibly.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"A little. Myself, outside of the Furry Fandom, I rarely converse with other fandoms anywhere. But that's just because I'm on a couple furry-centric forums.
Song of the Week: Find You by ZEDDI figure I get my "fill" of fandom activity/news here.
And TV Tropes has maybe the smallest number of toxic people I've witnessed.
The biggest number holders are probably youtube, popular art sites and anything classified as "social media."
Maybe it's just me, but I didn't read "feels" as meaning anything involving one-handed typing.
That aside, it was nice for Rocket to get more airtime (so to speak) in the 2nd trailer. I'm hoping that Guardians kicks a fair bit of box office ass, to encourage Disney/Marvel to go beyond standard humanoid superhero characters in the MCU.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI'm hoping Gamora gets a bit more screentime than she has in the trailers. maybe I'm wrong but they seem a bit light on her scenes.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Y'know, admitting to finding a character attractive doesn't strike me as especially prurient. The wording in that case was odd, but just mentioning that you realised that so-and-so character might be sexy is... well, unless we're talking a child or a non-sapient animal, why should I get bent out of shape? Now, that said, there are definitely more interesting things to talk about here.
On a completely different note, I find it funny given some of the people who used to haunt this forum that this is now a place that someone can call the one with the fewest poisonous personalities of those that they frequent. Not naming names, but, wow, times have changed...
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.
Well, you get people in the comments section whining about the more political strips, but that's all I've seen.
It's back up now. Just having server issues I guess.
