I wonder when Alisaie will come back into the plot.
Honestly the only plot thread I'm interested in seeing explored is the Warrior of Darkness and just who all else lives on the moon. And whatever it is Urianger spoke with Elidibus about. There's so much up in the air about just what Elidibus and the Wo D's deal is but everything else seems pretty cut and dry.
fuck that noise what i want to know is where's hildibrand
i want my saturday morning cartoons dammit
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaHe's probably coming back in 3.1.
Calling it right now.
From what he said after you fight him, at one point Ilberd will transform into Rhalgr in Primal form like Ysayle transformed into Shiva.
Why do decent characters suffer Character Derailment while others get the golden child treatment? Running the Asylum while Armed with Canon.I dont see them making the 12 guardian deities as primals like that, if anything they will be introduced as standalone rivals to Zodiark and those 12.
Anyway leveling Astro, its quite like white mage although it feels like it burns mp a hell of a lot faster does that become a problem later? It also feels a little weaker.
I don't see why they can't. Since a Primal is just a manifestation of what a person believes than the real thing. They can even go and make the Primal version look nothing like the real one.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Also, Belias is the Summoner level 50 boss, so they're already enemies in the game.
So with the Ewer card with AST, does it restore mana to a mage in fire?
It doesn't even appear on the status bar of a DRK in Darkside now, so the fact that it does appear on a BLM's bar suggests that it does. That said, I don't know if it restores enough MP quickly enough to add a Fire to their rotation the way the old Ewer did if you applied it at the right moment.
I prefer to chuck it on Bards so they can sing more, or DR Ks that have dropped Darkside. Or myself.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Oh? ok crossing those two off my list of targets to toss cards at.
Astrologian in general is a bit weaker than a White Mage or Scholar heal/shield wise, depending on the Sect. For instance, at level 30, CNJ gets Cure II and SCH gets Adloquium, while AST only gets Draw and Diurnal Sect, which doesn't have any Aspected abilities to boost yet. Moreover, its level 35-50 job quests unlock its card abilities, whereas the other healers develop and expand their healing toolset.
Essentially, Astrologians sacrifice sheer healing power for the utility of its card buffs. It's probably a class that benefits from a structured party or static, so that people actually know how to respond to buffs and where the Astrologian should best send them.

AST gets Benific II in place of Cure II actually, the power of it is 620 instead of Cure 2's 650 though with the you get 5% haste so it might balance out. The proc is making it instant cast instead of making it free mana cost.
I actually haven't had much of a problem healing with it, it just feels weaker and burns faster.
Soloing is another matter, holycrap it feels like I am getting hit like a freaken truck, way harder than I did leveling as a WHM I think I am doing something wrong there >.>

Diurnal still provides a passive 3% speed buff. AST has Benefic 2 at 30, and gets Aspected at 34, one level before WHM gets Regen. Noct seems designed to be used depending on the fight rather than depending on the partner you end up with, considering you only have Di for 60% of the levelling process and how ineffective Noct is for general use; it's an advanced tool.
That said... Noct shields don't stack with SCH shields while Di regen does stack with WHM regen. Nocturnal Helios is a joke, and instant speed isn't quite enough to make up for the loss of crit shields on Nocturnal Benefic.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.I know, I've been leveling an AST too ^_^. Astrologians have the same functional healing toolset that a WHM has—generic heal, big expensive heal, AOE heal, and single-target and AOE special heal—which makes it perfectly fine for the majority of content.
It's just that 30 is a sort of capstone—being the level classes obtain their jobs—and it's clear the focus is on their card mechanic, rather than an exceptional healing skill set.
I had a dream that the three sisters whose names I forget, they were a summon in Final Fantasy X, were the subject of a new 24-player raid. Just thought I'd put that out there.
I'd like to see some more of the Scions come back, even if it's only Minfilia because, well, she's damned easy on the eyes ¬_¬ They shouldn't bring all of them back though, because, as was touched upon before, it just cheapens it.
so im fairly certain that adders bribed the guys in charge of PVP because they win like 7/10 times
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaIt doesn't really cheapen it because no one has assumed they were dead just MIA, no bodies were found and no real mention of damage to the palace or anything.
Had anyone died they would have made a big deal about it.
I still have yet to try pvp >.> hesitant to due to the fact that my bars are already full and no real room for pvp spells.

They did make a big deal about it, and frankly the only ones interesting enough on their own merits to come back this point either did or are certainly going to. That's pretty much just Minfillia. The rest should stay dead or come back in roles if their own.
All the Scions are alive until proven otherwise right now. It would have been cheaper if they'd brought them all back in 3.0. As it is, we do know it's not guaranteed they will come back unscathed.
x15 Given that Ilberd has stated that he would do anything to take back Ala Mhigo, he's basically a Ascian away from learning how to become a primal in order to fight the Garlean Empire. Let's not forget that the younger Ala Mhigan refugees planning to summon Rhalgr in Primal form.
Why do decent characters suffer Character Derailment while others get the golden child treatment? Running the Asylum while Armed with Canon. After doing some testing with AST I think it does need 1 buff in the healing department,
Aspected Helios just blows 140 potency with 50 potency on the Ho T vs WHM's 400 potency and 50 potency on the Ho T.
That is way more than the 10% overall nerf to the other spells when you compare them and well those Ao E spells are really the most important healing spells outside of the oh crap off GCD spells.
It should be like 200 potency or have the Ho T bumped up to like 65 or 70 potency.

Are you comparing Aspected Helios in Diurnal Sect to Medica II? Medica II has a 200 initial potency, not 400, and their HoTs are identical (unless the wiki is lying to me). In terms of overall potency they're pretty comparable. The major difference between the two isn't their potency, it's that Aspected Helios cannot stack and that Medica II has a radius that's 5 yalms greater.
The necessary buff is to allow Diurnal Aspected Helios to stack with itself, because Medica II can. The 15y radius is annoying, but every other AOE heal is also limited to that range, so it's more understandable.

Well, I want to buy a copy of Final Fantasy XIV
But first things first.
Is the european version really half as cheap as the American version? And Why?
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.
They're actually looking for the Scions throughout the entirety of Heavensward: that's what Tataru's doing in The Forgotten Knight. She's following up leads and collecting information about the Scions. It's just that for plot convenience, only Y'shtola gets found. Moreover, the Warrior of Light talks with both Alphinaud and Tataru in the ending sequence for Heavensward about finding their lost friends. It's a major goal for the three of them, but they're simply swept up in the crisis of Nidhogg's invasion and later Thordan's scheming.
Plus, Alphinaud's also doing his job. He's helping the Ishgardians so that they'll rejoin the Eorzean Alliance, a goal that the Scions have always worked toward. They're splitting their duties and focusing on the most imminent threat, not just sitting around for the lulz.
