So. I had an interesting end to Pot D.

Was having a good time with a friend, when I accidentally stepped on a lure trap, summoning two slimes, and a cobra. So, I quickly used one of the thre Pomander of Witchings that we had picked up earlier.

Unfortunately, she had the same thought, so we lost two of them. And then, while killing them, another cobra wandered in, causing her to panic, and attack him instead.

I only managed to down one of the slimes before the enchantment wore off, first thing the other did was use Rapture, and wipe the group.

I've heard that one before. Either you've mentioned it already, either here on the FFXIV forums, or this happens more often than you'd think.

I had a floor effect where items were disabled and we had Amnesia. Me and another player were healers and we both got locked into Cleric Stance because of it. Tank winds up pulling too many mobs and we wiped.

@Steven wait a minuet. Your character wouden't happen to be that in the picture you linked would it?

So anyone doing the Yokai Watch event tuesday? I;m plan on getting the Minions and the Blizaria weapon, then focus on getting the other weapons and that Last Lousy Point on the Thanalan S Rank achivement

because there is a user on the OF that seems a like a Deadpan Snarker IMO, a little cynical. His character name matches yours to a T. I doubt that was a coincidence

And as for the Pajali weapons I think I;m going for the BLM weapon as well, I think I started a habit of getting the achievement weapons that correspond to my main first

Then it's probably I. Let's just say that....things on that place have gotten pretty out of hand as of late. And I have seen you post too.

New mount released on the mog station. A Fat Moogle mount. 2 seater, has its own action, plays the Moggle Mog theme, and has two moogles playing their instruments as you fly around. The Fat Moogle somewhat reuses the body of the Fat Chocobo, but I think they somehow made the moogle look even fatter than that or it appears that way because of its breathing. Even the in game text says basic physics should make flying impossible, yet here we are.

Yeah 30 bucks is a no from me. I could get 6 Minions, 2 months of game time or 2 sets of Carby lamps for that price,

Then again, I have a policy of only buying minions and items of the same price from the Mog Station. (and before you ask, I never suguessted things for the Mog Station [that I remember] an Sleipnir was a gift)

Speaking of Minions, I gotten all 13 of the Yo-kai and 5 of the weapons (In order, Blizzaria, Whisper, Jinbanyan, Usapyon and Komasan) I also made a guide on reddit about the event for those interested.

On a side note. Why did O-App-Pesi have a small Allagan Drone? Why did He have an oversize coffer? Are the Elemental really what they seem? Did Allag survive and is manipulating Gridiania form the shadows?!.

I bought the mount anyway. Just wanted it.

Like I didn't have enough consuming my life as is, what with SWTOR's Dv L event. Now I have an excessive grind in collecting minions and weapons to burn my time as well.

The event will last for two months and, considering some people already have everything, I wouldn't say it's too bad.

The drop rate seems to be between 20-41% so you could easily do it over the course of the two months and still get everything.

I am at the halfway mark now, which means I need 90 more meals (for the last three weapons. Venoct's, Kyubi's and Noko's)

I've been reading up more on Edda, that one white mage who lost her fiancé and went nuts, and from the sound of things, things were even more fucked up than I previously thought.

Like, I knew half the party hated her for being a sub-par healer, but what I didn't remember was that even her fiancé was an ass to her- their relationship might have been rather unhealthy even before Tam-Tara went down. And apparently the Elezen archer with them also had a thing for Avere. And just... in general there's a lot of stuff if you read between the lines enough that just make things so much worse than they already were.

It could be that they really did love each other, but Avare had a funny way of showing it. Or perhaps the relationship was one sided, but it seems more like "you're a useless twat" when it came to adventuring rather than him being hostile towards her in general.

And at the end of the Palace of the Dead quest, you're tasked with finding Avare's ring and bring it and Edda's ring to where they had first met so that they can finally rest.

...at least they're at peace, then. That's something.

Well, I finally caved in and downloaded Final Fantasy XIV last week, even though classes just began for me a short while ago.

So far, I'm actually liking it! Though the gameplay can be a bit repetitive, I'm often finding myself deeply immersed in the fully-realized game world and how beautiful everything looks. It's easily the best-looking MMORPG I've ever seen, not that I could doubt SE's ability to do incredible graphics, but I'm impressed at how even my school laptop could play this game with little to no issues.

My only real complaint is that for the past day I've been getting this Error 90002 that crashes my game every 5-to-15 minutes. I didn't get it before, so I'm guessing that it must be an ISP issue and not something relating to my laptop.

Sucks about that frequent error. I believe 90002 is a connection error rather than an actual crash, googling it suggests that it's client-side rather than server-side.

Is it? I've been wondering if that's the case, because I downloaded WT Fast in hopes of getting rid of this problem. It almost seemed as though my problem was over, but when I was in the middle of a dungeon, the game suddenly disconnected! I was pissed off after what happened to me that I decided not to play on Hyperion until I knew my issue was fixed.

But if it's a client-based issue, well... where do I start? Should I reset my router? I haven't considered that option, as my internet connection is fine in everything else.

Resetting the router has worked for me in the past I think, when I've had persisent connection issues. I'm on PS 4 though if that makes a difference, and I can't remember the last time I had major connection issues. It has happened though.

It also helps to check the official forums to see if other people are having the same issue. If they are, then the servers gone tits up until the devs can make them go tits down.

I got in on the free login period at nearly the last minute and I'm catching up from 3.1 onwards.

Can I say that I've had primal fights easier than the show match with a certain Ala Mighan general? (Doesn't help I'm on a laptop that's really not built for gaming.)
