Personaly I'm looking foward tot he event myself. thought right now I;m a little focused on trying to get 9 more Seal Rock wins and a lot of Wootz nuggets
I think the gear is silly. I wanted to bang my head on the desk when I saw the spear, but it's whatever. No sweat off my nose. Shit'll go straight to the armoire.
Some of the minions look good and I daresay they are better animated than the one we got now.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.I don't know how many people go into the Midas savage stuff, but I can say... it's pretty intense.
Made it as far as A6 Savage, where you have to kill all the bosses in a row within a time limit. Even if it's been tuned down, it's still pretty ridiculous how fine tuned you have to be to run this stuff.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. So, it appears a certain That One Boss is coming to XIV in 3.3. It's Ozma!!!
I don't know if I should be scared or excited as hell. Maybe both.
well
fuck
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaI really love that Moogles were the ones that invented the Dark Knight job.
That's just hilariously bizarre.
If that boss does not have the same moveset as its original form, I call shenanigans.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Well, the Moogles that weren't lazy ____s ended up down under. The ones that stayed behind did so not as a sacrifice, but because they were just too lazy.

Never would have thought that I'd grow to hate moogles because of this.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. Finally completed the first part of HW Hildibrand. Seems like they are going for meta humour this time?◊
Coincidence I think.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Completed the Soul Without Life fate grind with my second character. After some bad luck (three hours, not in one sitting, with only one crystal drop), I got the last four I needed all in a row. With an estimated drop rate of 10%, the odds of that happening are one in ten thousand.
On the subject of luck, my main character's Cactpot number is 1285. Last week's number drawn was 1235. So close, and yet so, so far.
Enjoy the absurd eso/poe grind to get the upgrade tokens.
Yeah, I'm about one-third done with it on my main character. It is pretty tedious. One consolation is that I can do the Crystal Tower weekly quest, which will earn Poetics just for running the duties, and gives me whatever that item is you need for the next step, so once this grind is done, I should be able to immediately complete the next stage.
I heard they're increasing the drop rate of crystals in the upcoming patch, which is good. I do kinda want them to do something about the tomes grind though. Make it 10 of each item instead of 20 or something. That would still be a grind, but a more manageable one.
If it's anything like the other "readjustments" of previous steps, they're more likely to lower the cost of items than to reduce the number you need.
Well, if they reduce the cost of items by half, as opposed to halving the number of items needed, then it's effectively the same. Anything would be welcome though.
Unless you already had the items. In which case, it would be wasted effort on the part of the players hoarding the items.
Course, they're not touching that leg of the quest chain yet

Well, yes, if they changed it and suddenly I had more than I needed, I'd be a bit miffed that I'd made what is now unnecessary effort, but on the other hand, hey, now I can the weapon right away.
and Which, presumably, is why in the past they made the thingies cheaper to get, rather than reducing the number of them you need.

Out of all the extreme primals, I think Ramuh extreme makes the least sense.
The Warrior of Light passed his test. Just because the sylphs called him back with more crystals doesn't mean he should be trying harder to kill them, in fact, he should be putting less effort in. If he's incapable of not tempering people, I can see why it would need to be the hero specifically, but not why he'd become a harder fight.
I feel like they should have at least put in a handwave of why Ramuh Ex is still trying to cook you extra crispy.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I suppose that it might be another test, to face him at full power in order to prepare the warriors of light for tougher challenges?
They didn't even really bother with an Excuse Plot for Ramuh. Just were like "here have an EX mode because we know you'll hang us if there isn't one".
Yeah, I thinking there's not really much need for a justification. Then again, I'm mostly just playing this as a game, rather than particularly following the story.
Not really happy about it, personally, but we've already got other silly items like all of the Moggle Mog gear, too, and a lot of the small pets don't really fit the settings like the hand cursor and the various crossover items.
