So, same "joke" that was made awhile back about Libertarians then.
Recycle a gag only a few strips after it was made.
This is just going to be another week of Tats dragging his feet until Sunday.
It's gonna be another slugfest from here.
Kind of a "meh" strip. But this is the second time this week that Vainglorious has broken the fourth wall. I give it a net positive score.
Who wants to bet the Devil is going to take a sudden vacation, and this guy is going to take over for a while?
Optimism is a duty.I do NOT think the following scenario wil come to pass, but the elements of its setup are in the comic:
The big party will happen, there will be consternation and quarrels when people (and demons) unmask, and then ...
Maverick fires the missile she salvaged from the swamp and blows up the mansion. The Sisterhood wins, and the comic ends.

@Hexapodia
We did see Slick and Monique meet, way back near the beginning of the comic. Ah, those were the days.
It's really sad how broken their relationship is. Heck, Tats won't even let them be Just Friends.

@Deadlock *sigh* ... You're right. Too bad Monique had a personality extraction.
More like Personality Corruption. She technically still has one....it's just nothing but being a complete, self-absorbed egotist who can never take responsibility for Anything she does. She also is a Fucking Hypocrite.
It's a bad personality.

And back with the brain trust. Y'know Tats, dragging your feet this much has to be murder on your shoes.
Just dragging and dragging, with everyone telling him to get on with it.
Another Socialist Realism pose. Tats seems to like those.
...every time she speaks, I can FEEL my IQ draining away. She's like a Pathfinder poisonous monster, only without the saving throws.
Seriously, she's getting to the level where she makes Spongebob Squarepants look like Albert Einstein in comparison.
Platypi hold the secret to happiness.I think we've established multiple times already that the party is fancy and that those two are mouth-breathing idiots.
I thought todays comic was fine, actually. Nothing to complain about really.
Optimism is a duty.I give it a solid "meh." Was it funny? Not really. Did it advance the plot? Not really, except to establish that she's going t bring a large, lethal weapon to the party. Was the art particularly good? Not really, except for the heroic/romantic detail of the last panel.
Tange is not my favorite character. I guess I'm not as enchanted by her "brain-damaged innocent" personality as Tats seems to be.
And she also did destroy a guy's life by damning him to be a frog forever.
The problem with these two is that for the longest time now their one and ONLY joke is "they're not bright, isn't that funny!?" It's like Seymour and the gay for Jesus thing. The joke has run it's course, get something new already.
Doesn't help they're keeping us from the Fireworks Factory too. At least Vainglorious skulking about the mansion has the POTENTIAL for something interesting happening.

Wasn't that Fuchsia?
My tolerance for Fuchsia pretty much cratered with that act. Crim apparently doesn't know what she did. I wonder if he'll ever find out, and if so what the consequences would be ...
Believe it or not, but Tange was actually actively involved in that.
It was more of a group effort, but Tange seemed especially pleased with and vocal about the group's "heroics".
The female characters / female-like robots really are despicable sociopaths. Rereading those comics really brings my loathing of them back to the surface!

Ye gods, I remember those strips. It's what prompted me to write my own entry for the DMOS page for Sinfest.
That could be it.
