Not to Godwin the thread but then again Nazifest is already a thing… I think it's basically like a Nazi author trying to get his target audience (other Nazis) to like a character, by showing just how much he hates those awful Jews! Isn't it wonderful how much he hates them? Don't you just like that character so much? If not, you must just not be in the target audience… and therefore an enemy who should probably up and die anyway.

I gotcha. Then again, I ALREADY dislike radfems about as much as I can.

On a totally unrelated note: For combat oriented bots, they have ZERO knowledge of weapons safety. You NEVER do what they did here. That is: Never, and I do mean NEVER point a readied weapon at a target you have not identified.

They just did the equivalent of pointing loaded rifles at a teenage girl and a child while their fingers were on the trigger. I own a legal gun, have taught people gun safety, and I take it SERIOUS.

If you recall, I mention this as part of the reason I regard Maverick as such a disgusting character.

That relies on the assumption that they did notice it was just a pair of teenagers before they readied their weapons. They just got done blowing up Deviltech combat drones, after all.

They even have that twisted Maverick stare on them now. Not cool Tatsyuda, they were characters we pretty much liked.

I'm so rooting for them to open fire, but knowing Tats that will never happen. It would be interesting!

It's not about NOTICING, it's about not readying and aiming their weapons BEFORE identifying their target. Yes, they just destroyed some drones, but you NEVER assume your target.

They're clearly using the "Shoot 'em all now, sort 'em out later" school of thought.

Isn't that also the train of thought in many mass shooters. Shoot first ask later.

Awhile back. Also I can understand Slick wanting to get his friend back to their place of work to get the daily 9 to 5.

It's a recent development. Somehow Devil Slick can switch places with Normal Slick whenever Devil Slick wants now. Why yes, this DOES further muddy any of Devil Slick's meaning as a metaphor. Why do you ask?

No, it's called being justifiably paranoid about the possibility of being shot first if they delay the charge-up and aiming until after taking the time to properly ID the unknowns that just stumbled upon them. They don't know if the area is 100% safe; for all they know Deviltech has more drones inbound or even sent armed mercs (if they have any) to their location.
