I finally got my results of this semester I dreaded...
I had achieved victory in all my classes!
Thank goodness that was all successful!
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedAfter a week of putting it off, I looked at this quarter's grades. They actually came out better than I expected. Thank God.
Hopefully I'm not necromincing, but well, next semester's coming inbound, and the days I'll be out on are Saturdays and Mondays. (Couldn't get full-time college this time. 11 credits of the full 12.)
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedI am rather hesistant to check my grades. :/
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.only one of my grades is actually on my transcript.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Blarrgh, grades. I'm getting my Property Law grade in one month, and I'm incredibly nervous about that one...
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!I ain't looking at my grades til after Christmas,..I'm too scared to look at them now. Anyway,I finally got home after being stuck two days in an old room with literally just a bunch of clothes for a bedspread.
Next up stagecraft and more Creative Writing,..the rest I'll figure out after the grades.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterI'm taking ballet next semester because I miss dancing.
Yes!It paid off,boo-yah,..woohooooooo,...yeah!!!! I know it was just a dumb pre-requisite and I still have another year of Math to take, but after so much tutoring,...it paid off.
Admittedly this tanked my Government grade down to a C,which I know I could've done better on if Math didn't eat up so much time.
And I don't know what my Biology grade is,I do hope I passed though, probably did.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterCongratulations.
It's kinda a shame if you have to made trade-offs like that so you pass your classes, but it's better than overfocusing on one class that you don't do well in another.
Intro to Economics grade just came in: A!
this with the A- from Writing puts me up to a 3.850 GPA
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!I feel kinda sorry for you people with plus/minus grading. Around here an 89.51 rounds up to a 4.0.
<><gotta love that grade inflation!
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!I got my first semester grade. Total GPA:3.57.
Not what I wanted but far beyond what I deserve.

Just out of curiosity, but has anyone been part of anything in the vein of a student-led course / seminar? I wound up signing up for helping out with one this spring last fall, and am kinda a stranger to the overall demands and culture. Is it generally considered better to plan things out further in advance, so as to free up more time in the semester to handle the demands of your other classes? Or within the [n <= 7] days that you actually need it to maintain maximum flexibility? Or is it a case-by-case matter?
Hard Boiled Detective Since 1985Thanks, Trivialis.

After returning from a week of vacation, I've just checked my grades for the first time. They appear to be all A's, and I could not be more flabbergasted. I was expecting something more like a C in Greek Philosophy, but I seem to have conquered its convoluted Aristotelian depths after all! So...I guess...I now have a four-point-oh. Merciful heavens.
"And every life is a special story of its own." —The Stargazer, Mass Effect 3I have finally returned,...regrettably forced to take a Finite Mathematics,...but at least I don't have to do that dumb Algebra class again.
Also, now that I have an apartment,...as good as it is to be on my own meal wise,...I hope I don't starve to death.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterDo you know how to cook or are you willing to learn?
I know how alright, been that way since I was ten,...I just totally underestimated the costs of it all,my hope is that frugality doesn't equate to starvation.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterAre you buying prepackaged individual meals, or staples like eggs and flour in bulk?
Or highly-priced organic stuff?
In short, it's not going to lead to starvation unless you have a very low-paying job.

I'm unemployed at the moment actually,...so yeeeeah everything looks expensive at that point,..I'm relying on summer job money at this point.
Organic stuff in the backwoods of Virginia,...ha ha ha ha that's a good joke. Unless The Food Lion has that kind section, then there's nothing like that.
At the moment mostly basic sandwich ingredients and stuff for a simple pasta.
