For Moldorm, my assumption is that there's no system to track an entity's health when it's not loaded. Moldorm's unique as the only boss you can leave the boss room from without either you or it being dead, so it's a bit of an edge case, but there would be no reason to store a health value in basically any other context.
It's been fun.I do think that in the case of similar bosses in Link's Awakening and Oracle of Seasons, in those cases they reset the boss's health on purpose.
Trolls.
Ghirahim sure as hell doesn't act like a robot
Heart of StoneThat's the thing, I always got the sense he's overcompensating on his emotional reactions to cover up his own general lack of them. Like Organization XIII.
I really get the sense the only emotions he feels are real are ironically enough his hatred of Link to contrast Fi's attachment to him.
Granted, he does laugh maniacally and seems happy when Demise turns him back.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. Are the people of Koholint island sapient?
It seems there's some confusion over Ghirahim and Demise's titles. Ghirahim in Japanese is called 魔族長 (mazokuchou) which means "head of the demon tribe". Demise I think is never actually called 魔王 (maou / Demon King) like Ganondorf is at any point. In fact, the name Demise itself is more of a title than a name. In Japanese he's called 終焉の者 (shuuen no mono) which literally means "Person of Ending(s)", with the word for ending being a particularly dramatic one that would make you think like the end of the world.
Not being called king of demons does make sense though, since Demise isn't really a demon per se but the literal source of all evil made manifest. Contrast to Ganondorf being a guy who claimed all of the demonic forces under his control through sheer power and force of will.
You could easily compare it Castlevania actually. Ghirahim if he was still around is Death, Ganondorf is Dracula, Ganon is Dracula's final form (the curse of humanity), and Demise is Chaos itself if it had a physical form.
Yeah, Ghirahim being compared to Death is quite apt.
Amusingly enough, Ghirahim does actually swear loyalty to Ganondorf in Hyrule Warriors.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Funny thing is I've never really found Moldorm difficult, because YOU effectively have infinite health in the room below so long as you have the switch set to the right state. So unless you manage to get hit quite a lot without getting knocked down, it's just a matter of time before you're matching his movement patterns well enough to win.
I missed the part where that's my problem. The problem is that not everyone knows that if you fall down a certain hole on the floor before Moldrom's floor. You can get some fairies.
"May your heart be your guiding key"Regarding Koholint Island: The game is really unclear the exact nature of Koholint Island. I mean, we know the island exists in a dream, but what about the people? If they are truly sapient creatures, then they could all cease to be when Link awakens the Wind Fish. Which would be bad. But I don't think that's the case. We know Link fell asleep at sea, and his mind or whatever awoke in Koholint Island. When the dream ends he's back in his body. Also, Marin says she has dreams of being a seagull, then at the end, after waking up, we see a seagull that is implied to be Marin. I think she was always a seagull, but fell asleep and got trapped in the Wind Fish's dream where she dreamt she was a person. And if this happened to two living beings, why couldn't it have happened to other things? Maybe everyone in the dream is a person or animal that fell asleep in the real world and woke up in the dream. If this is the case, then when the Wind Fish wakes up, all these beings would wake up in the real world. This would make Link waking the Wind Fish a good thing. It also marks a difference between the Nightmares and the other inhabitants of the island, where the Nightmares would be part of the Wind Fish's subconscious, while everyone else would be real. The other option is that the inhabitants of the island aren't sapient at all and they "don't count" as being alive, and are only parts of the Wind Fish that only exist as beings in the dream. The whole thing is very vague.
Disregard whatever we're talking about now and come crashing through the door with my baloney?
So far I've been thinking about sort of an Ultimate Link, Where Lincoln is the best version of everything he's ever had and the best stats for lack of a better term, and all the skills she's ever had throughout the entirety of the franchise.
But after two years of the kingdom came out I shifted or perhaps split my focus. Picturing sort of a Team of four separate Links.
All of the polling from a few different games aside from poetic license. Young Link will receive Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask as well as the hero defeated timeline.
And here is an image showing the items I thought of giving him not including the non-transformation masks and the magic canes and rods.
Do you think there's anything that I missed?
I do think a team-up of different versions of Link could be a good idea, but one of them is going to have to talk.
We know the Hero of Time can talk, and the Hero of the Wild simply chooses not to, but there's nothing about why the others don't.
If the Old man in a Link between Worlds is the Link from a Link to the Past to Link's Awakening then that is another Link that talks.
"May your heart be your guiding key"Oh I gave them all people to talk for them. Young get Teal, Toon gets Elizo, Adult gets Minda and Wild gets Fi.
I could see them doing a joke where a Link tries to say something but their helper wouldn't let them get a word in.
"May your heart be your guiding key"What's the Geurudo mask for?
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut. Its just a mask,it has no purpose gameplay wise
New theme music also a boxYou know in hindsight, with BOTW and the vai outfit Link HAS to wear - The Gerudo Mask not returning as a transformation mask in MM is a little funny. It might've gone fine.
You already get fans who believe when Zelda becomes Sheik, she literally transforms into a man.
- Running Gage, in fact especially with Minda.
- I wished MM had a Grudo from. It's some of the Artistic Lissince I'm giving him.

> You already get fans who believe when Zelda becomes Sheik, she literally transforms into a man.
I mean with magic anything is possible, including transforming into a man.
New theme music also a boxI actually reworded that before I posted it so as to try not just shoot down the interpretation out of hand. That's not up to me. Guess it still needed some work.
My Hyrule Warriors quest continues. I finished the Great Sea map, so now it's on to the Master Quest map... which I had already done on Wii U. Not really looking forward to that.
Not growing up with an NES really bites me in the butt sometimes. I never can remember where the bombable walls are. I've spent untold rupees on compass cards.
One thing that's started to bug me is how weird this game's Boss Subtitles are. King Dodongo is called "Fire Breathing: King Dodongo" (not Fire Breather, Fire Breathing) instead of the much more badass "Infernal Dinosaur." Gohma is also called "Arthropod Cyclops Monster" instead of the expected "Parasitic Armored Arachnid." That's much more forgivable, but it still lacks a certain je ne sais quoi. Maybe because it doesn't parasitize anything in this game?
The Helmaroc King and Phantom Ganon don't even get subtitles! A shame, because "Evil Spirit from Beyond" is so good. The only giant boss that got to keep its "canon" subtitle is (Twilit Dragon) Argorok.
The playable characters don't fare much better. Ganondorf becoming "The Demon King" instead of "Great King of Evil" is about 20% less cool, but acceptable.
Medli gets to be the "Sage of Earth," as is right and proper, but Darunia and Ruto are "Goron Chief" and "Zora Princess" instead of "Sage of Fire" and "Sage of Water;" see above. (Maybe because they didn't become sages in this timeline? The Goron Mt. Rushmore in Breath of the Wild features Darmani and Darbus, both from the child timeline, but Darunia is conspicuously absent.)
Impa is "Hyrulean General" instead of "Sage of Shadow," but this is a different Impa so it's understandable. What isn't understandable is that Young Link is (ugh) "Determined Youth" instead of the super obvious and much more apropos "Hero of Time." Determined Youth?! Put some respect on the little fucker's name!!

Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Felt like doing some Musou grinding myself, so I finally went and got every single weapon in DE. Hooray, now everyone feels more or less playable. And still a million things to do.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Ha ha, I'm nowhere close to getting them all. Also, Link is like 75 levels higher than anybody else. Unless I finally learn to do the rupee glitch, I have a lot of grinding to do.
Also, been thinking about the fact that Malon can apparently carry a fucking cow up a ladder. No wonder Link canonically married her (I said what I said). If she gets into Hyrule Warriors II, one of her combos should include some kind of cow-throwing attack.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
Well if Fi is any indication, they are an artificial robotic existence of some kind also they are literal weapons with sentience.
So it’s quite possible Ghirahim wasn’t even intended to have his demon form.
