[up][up]Its an ambiguous place, Daphnes mentions that he isn't the Hero of Time but on the other hand Ganondorf does say he is the Hero of Time reborn.

[up][up][up]Daphnes says the Hero of the Winds isn't a reincarnation of OOT Link but I'm not so sure about that. ST Link's existence is pretty suspicious if that's the case.

edit: It could be that while he's not the actual Hero's Spirit the goddesses chose another hero to replace him.

edit 2:

@Zelda as main hero: I'd prefer a female Link but that works too.

Come to think of it I wonder how many Prince Consort Link's have married into the royal family by now. [lol]

Of the Links we know? I'm going with three or four.

The Hero's Spirit doesn't care about bloodlines though so it's not like it would be incest.

I'm just amused because I wonder if anyone in the Royal Family would notice the pattern. Of course I also like to think Link is just ridiculously common name in Hyrule so the chances just wind up being high anyway. [lol]

I did say I'm aware of the fact that Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass Link is not a reincarnation of Ocarina of Time Link because the latter, after defeating Ganondorf, returned to his era, which consequently started the era without a hero. But it seems pretty valid that a new hero needed to be chosen in that particular era.

Actually, if we consider the idea that the different timelines (with the possible exception of the Defeat Timeline) technically exist in the same universe, it's possible that the Adult Timeline Link is the same hero as that of the Child Timeline, and the reason for the era without a hero is because the hero's spirit was busy doing stuff in the other timeline for a while. Can't be everywhere at once, even if you are kind of multiple people.

Its not like there hasn't been a calamity or two without Link reincarnating in the backstories before anyway. Hylia evidently needs to work on her reincarnation punctuality.

Hey, you wanna try coordinating two different reincarnation cycles (one of which is yourself) around random calamities across two different timelines? You think you could do better?

Three Timelines! But also the Heroes Spirit could have just slept in as Link is apt to be doing. [lol]

Spirit Tracks Zelda is probably the most active in the plot of any Zelda, but even ignoring that, she does have a tendency to help out in the game's final boss a lot of the time.

But for some reason, Zelda is at her most competent when dressing up as a ninja.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.

Amusingly, she tends to have most of her Action Girl feats in a dress and heels. Even in Ocarina of Time where she spends half the game as Sheik and Wind Waker where she is Tetra, she still only actively attacks anything in the Final Battle. [lol]

That's true.

I suppose because when she's in the dress and heels, she's truly Zelda, while with Sheik, that's just a disguise she wears.

Of course, Tetra flips that, since she's just Tetra in a dress as opposed to Zelda wearing a disguise.

Tetra in a dress and with lighter skin for some reason.

Yeah, still bitter about that. That was stupid.

Why's it stupid? She probably had a tan from years of pirating, and she lost it because...erm...I dunno.

I guess that's why Zelda's dress is a power up outfit in Triforce Heroes. Zelda is at her most potent when she wears a dress and Link wants in on that action. [lol]

I really did like the concept art in Hyrule Historia of tan Zelda though.

Cus something something bottom of the sea. Idk. It'd be hard to get a tan in WW Hyrule, though.

Woah hang on what the hell are you talkin' about. She's a major driving force in I think, like, 60% of the games. She very rarely does the Princess Peach thing, she is an active player.
She definitely isn't a Peach but isn't super-duper active all the time either. Not that many games have her helping you out the entire time, only for chunks of the game. Spirit Tracks was probably best about this, followed by Ocarina. Skyward Sword is a sorta-kinda while in Wind Waker she was doing her own thing for a good part of it.

"Skyward Sword is sorta-kinda?" Pretty much the entire game is you trying to catch up with the adventures she's having!

I mean, she does get sealed in amber for a while, but that scene made me cry so it is exempt.

Man, no one gets that tan just from sunlight. Unless they're already dark to begin with.

I mean, compare Zelda to Tetra

I'm basically as pale as Zelda is, and I have never been able to get as dark as Tetra just through sunning myself. Artificial means, maybe.

Though, the whole Tetra-Zelda thing is slightly alleviated by the fact that she basically says "Fuck this" to all of that and goes back to pirating afterward.

As someone who is extremely pale in the winter and extra tan in the summer, I'll say yes its possible for one person to be as dark as Tetra at and as pale as Zelda at different points.

But her appearance is altered with magic anyway so its not like its natural, even the shade of blond in her hair is different.

You're gonna have to give me some pointers, then, cause I've spent hours in the sun and only gotten, like, one shade darker than I normally am.

The secret is witchcraft! Also I'm multi-racial from one very pale nationality on one side and a fairly tanned one on the other. [lol]

Really off topic but I really want the Rito to return, they are like my favorite Zelda Tribe ever.
