What's with all the people's significant others getting usernames that reference them? First it was Westley, then Drunk Girlfriend,and now Lady Justice. :|

And they're all on the west coast, which is even weirder...

Blame Rott for the last one. I thought "Lady Righteous" was a better name, but wifey decided identifying herself was a better idea. And the name is what Rott called her on the fora a few times.

I ran out of the necessary time to buy each card from the vendor that had them cheapest. I couldn't count on every purchase coming in the mail on time, and holy cow, trying to construct a deck from one vendor probably costs more than a night with a nice clean call girl!

Snow is much fun. I very much enjoyed waking at the 5am, putting on the fire place, looking out at the snow and listening to jazz vinyl. Ahhhh, the joys of bumdome.

My entire school district shut down, except for my campus. Then all the snow had cleared by noon. Pretty great.

I was expecting to hear silly northwestfolken talking about the snow like it was a disaster of unknowable magnitude, but no, everyone was all "Huh, it's not even sticking, they should fire the weather anchors for overhyping it". Almost a disappointingly proportionate response.

Only about half of the people at my office even showed up, most of the ones that did flipped the fuck out and left at about 2 pm when it started hailing.

I left at ~5 to dry, empty roads.

Portland is generally pretty tame as far as snow goes. I've lived in a couple places where roofs where literally collapsing underneath the weight of the snow.

Hitting your brakes to stop at an intersection only to realize that you're going through said intersection, red lights, brakes or no? Not a great feeling.

Why Justice, you're starting to sound like a cyclist.

My wife would kill me before that happened...and she'd be right to do it.

But... you live in North Portland. There's almost no hills there. It's perfect for biking.

I've driven around Portland to much and have been annoyed by cyclists to many times to ever join their ranks.
