I'm not in the Pacific NW of the States, but I'm in the Canadian Pacific SW. Close enough.

Putting me in the Portland metro area, or any metro area, is a bit of a stretch.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Which county? If it's Clark, that's considered part of the metro area.
Fixed.

Clark. Vancouver is a few miles south.
Seriously? What does "metro area" mean, then? I live on a gravel road!

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Wait, John-a-dreams, how fast are you going on the freeway to get between Seattle and M-ville in half an hour? I suppose it's possible I drive like a grandma though I prefer to think that I'm just chronically unlucky with traffic.
To get to the edge of Seattle it takes me about a half an hour, I think? If I'm going deeper into Seattle it would obviously take me longer. But I don't really keep track of these things. If I had to get somewhere there by a certain time I would probably actually know.
life is the sleep of no dreaming; stories allow us to dream againYou know, I've been thinking about moving to Portland next year. It's starting to sound better and better... we could start gathering tropers unto the Holy City, and gradually create our own Utopia there!

There's no space in the name.Probably. If you're not worried about axe-murderers.
Would Portland be a good meet point? Sorta central in the US Pac. NW.
Do axe-murderers even exist anymore?
You could always get a rideshare on Craigslist, though you'd probably have to chip in for gas money.
Add me to Portland.
Some writing.Argh, I keep thinking people are talking about me.
This must be how Matrix feels.

After Trope Meet Bay Area, and when I get my driver's license, and if J Bridge helps chip in, maybe we can drive up to Portland for Trope Meet: Portland!
