Should probably pothole the reference.
Oghren = Wrex? I demand a fucking retrial.
It's your God, they're your rules, you go to hell." - Mark TwainSeriously.
Oh, right. Typed that at 2 in the morning
Carry on! Nothing to see here!
^Huh. That would actually make Andraste and old god baby thing interesting
Though that'd raise questions about green glowing spirit lady that is probably the Andraste that you can see in trailers
Hmm. I haven't heard the Andraste= Old God Baby theory before.
I have, however, heard a pretty convincing argument for Flemeth being one.
Old gods, old gods, everywhere.
Flemeth might be Andraste for all we know.
I don't think the timeline and character match up. I'd honestly be a bit disappointed if she was. She's a good character, and I could see her being something like Fen-Harel, but...Andreste? It also doesn't seem to link with the story we were told by Morrigan. The theory I found matched her to a different blight, actually. After a bit of google-fu, I located it.
Here
No, it's not talking about this game, they're talking about after the First Blight, and how Andraste was born the same year Dumat died.
I know-Old God Baby is my general term for "cleansed and reclaimed Old God."
I should probably use less confusing terminology.

I can see some 'From a different point of view' work with what Flemeth says in DA:O about being betrayed by men and etc. She very well could be Andraste who is horribly broken but then idk what she would be doing in DA:O and DA 2.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I've been a supporter of the Flemeth= Old God theory for years, because it actually makes sense. How else would Flemeth know about a magical ritual that transfers the soul of an Old God into the body of a sentient infant, unless she herself is the product of such a ritual?
The knowledge for the ritual had to come from somewhere. Flemeth may have invented it herself, or she may have discovered it in a book, or she may be an Old God who had the ritual performed on her. Even if she had it performed on her, then where did the person who used the ritual get it from? Were they also an Old God? If so, where did they learn it? So Flemeth knowing the ritual doesn't mean much by itself.

PAX panel info post:
The first four multiplayer characters have been revealed (last multiplayer reveal for the day, though there will be more next week IIRC):
Other info:
- There's a "war nug" mount.
- Blackwall likes to drink and to take walks in the rain.
- Friendly fire is a toggle.
- DA Keep is narrated by Brian Bloom (Varric's VA). This narration is a feature that is supposedly not in the current build of the beta.
- Authorized DA Keep beta video. Watch this.
- You actually can upload your Wardens and Hawkes to the Keep. You can still edit the imported choices.
- First PC UI screenshot

WAR NUG!
Do we have any idea how big it is? I wanna see a qunari ride a small pink bunny pig into battle.
EDIT: Also, I don't know if anyone's thanked you for gathering all this stuff, Irrose. So thank you!

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I think I might have caught a save issue in that video.
In Awakening, if you make the right choices, you can save BOTH Amaranthine and Vigil's Keep and you even get an achievement for doing so. However, the choices made looks like it doesn't include this option???
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I didn't see anything about Amaranthine. If there was, it's probably that they just didn't have that option selected. Or something they did have disabled it.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."At the very end of the video, he goes into the choices for Awakening where there are only two listed; Fate of the Architect and Fate of Amaranthine/Vigil's Keep. He clicks directly on the fate of the Keep choice and there are only two options; 'The Warden protected Vigil's Keep' and 'The Warden protected Amaranthine'.
At first I thought that maybe the upgrades to the keep would be listed under and entirely different set of options, but there are only two listed under Awakening so... : /
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Wow, the Keep looks fantastic. It's even in color! :D
So, spoiler ending: a bunch of Giant Space Fleas From Nowhere invade Thedas, and Oghren screams, "MY NAME IS OGHREN, AND THIS. IS. MY. WORLD!"
