Oh thank goodness, we can revive party members Mass Effect style.

Lots of five dollar words there but I'm liking what I see.

Might just have to pick this one up.

Have they shown what Quanari have instead of helmets yet?

That was amazing. It didn't really tell me anything new about combat (beyond the new method of reviving downed party members), but it looked really nice.

• It was great to see areas besides the Hinterlands and Redcliffe Castle.
• Sera has the best character portrait. She somehow manages to make the trollface grin work.
• Rage demons finally look threatening. It's kind of amazing how much of a difference tripling their size makes.
• Looks like Crestwood is in the game and wasn't just created for the early demos.

Some more information from Twitter. Gareth-David Lloyd did a general Q&A session today and answered a couple of questions about Solas. When asked if Solas was a love interest he responded "you will not be disappointed." However when asked the same question later in the Q&A he said "I don't know what I can say... but enjoy." He also mentioned that Indira Varma (Game of Thrones's Ellaria Sand) did some voice work on Inquisition. There's already speculation that she's Vivienne's VA.

David Gaider Jossed the notion that the two unrevealed LIs are the racegated ones. However he did not say that the two race-gated LIs have already been revealed.

^^Solas? Really? Huh. Well, unless Gaider is trolling, Varric's chances seem suddenly small unless amount of love interest options for all sexualities and sexes aren't equal

Elves with Welsh accents are very suspect to me, as an Englishman.

That narrator sure was pointless. Footage looked good though.

It still feels weird that jumping is a thing in this kind of game.

I'm surprised that the video didn't mention "Bioware's award winning storytelling".

Then again, this trailer was about combat, so we may hear that line yet.

Solas? Really? Thats... surprising. Most balance based estimates (which I'll explain when I'm not on a cellphone) had Varric and Vivienne pegged.

New Dragon Age Keep FAQ

The Keep's release date has been delayed in addition to Inquisition. They are expecting it to be open to the public some time in October, though they don't have a release date, so that may change.

Figures, but hey, more time to work on it.

Right, I haven't been following the Keep thing. It's a save editor that lets you not be stuck with shitty choices because you can't import data?

Says origin but it works for PS 4 right? That's what platform I'm planning on getting this for.

I'd consider the PC version because I think it works better with the whole giving orders and pausing time thing but fuck Origin.

Just hoping the new combat thingy works well on a controller. Older games were a bit eh on it.

You don't have to have the Origin client. Just an origin account.

And yeah, I'm like 95% certain the Keep will work on all platforms, since it's the only way to have your choices reflected.

If that Lady Corteau character in DA:I doesn't say, "my life for yours" in the game, I'll be so disappointed.
