Homophobia index has a lot of tropes, and there have been serious questions about whether all or even most of the qualify. I figure we could start with a general short-term cleanup of the index, then, if that doesn't work out, stick it on the queue.
I did a lookover of the index, [[sandbox/Homophobia Index Cleanup that can be found here]], and found quite a few that I can call keepable, but also quite a few that I would cut. There were also some that I don't know whether they should be allowed to stay or not. Even if all of those are excluded, I think there's enough to justify keeping the index, albeit in a much smaller form.
