The "Awesome moments" page for My Hero Academia has become extremely unnecessarily detailed: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Awesome/MyHeroAcademiaFinalActSaga

Specifically, the manga has been in its final arc for a year now, so this page was created, but it's still ridiculous. Every chapter now is getting paragraphs of detail. It takes longer to read the moments for a single chapter than it does to read the actual chapter.

For example, in the most recent entry, for Chapter 413, there are five entries, each a full paragraph, and all they are doing is detailing how a plan to defeat the main bad guy has been created, and how they'll do it. Those could all be condensed into something like "The Vestiges come up with a final plan to defeat Shigaraki. By using a mental scar leftover from his battle with Stars and Stripes, the Vestiges all decide to allow themselves to be taken one at a time, dealing massive damage to Shigaraki with each absorption."

The latest chapter that came out had at least 6 paragraphs of utter natter. I've edited down the last two chapters to something more reasonable, but they were reverted back, despite being ridiculously long.

  • Chapter 413:
    • The Vestiges come up with a final plan to defeat Shigaraki. By using a mental scar leftover from his battle with Stars and Stripes, the Vestiges realize this is a huge weak spot for Shigaraki. By utilizing their Quirks as ammunition, they set up a technique which allow themselves to be taken one at a time, dealing massive damage to Shigaraki with each absorption.
    • Izuku finds a way to get around the extreme fatigue that comes with Gearshift, and wraps a massive amount of Blackwhip tendrils around himself to essentially puppeteer his own body.

  • Chapter 414:
    • Izuku shows off his skill at utilizing multiple Quirks at once. First by distracting Tomura with Smokescreen, then using Blackwhip to lift off a huge chunk of ground which stalls Tomura's Decay. Then, he uses Tomura's Search Quirk against him, by sending a clot of his own blood to get Tomura's attention. This lets Izuku get close enough to land a hit. Once Tomura realizes he can't dodge it, he is actually frightened, as it's clear that whatever Izuku's doing, it will do damage to him. He's proven correct, as Kudo's strategy is shown to work. Tomura is left reeling from the attack and damaging him physically and mentally.
