Since I mentioned hearing songs in restaurants fairly recently, I heard the song "Colors" by Beck at a cafe while I was in Cleveland, Ohio last week.
I also heard "Tighten Up" by The Black Keys at a different cafe on our last day there. (Then again, this isn't as surprising — The Black Keys are from Akron, which is fairly close to Cleveland.)
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.

I went last week to the local card game store and there was a sticker of Bubble on the desk. Didn't expect that.
The best character is always the one-shot disguise.
Was working the cash register the other night, and one of the customers was watching One Piece on his phone! Unfortunately there was a line behind him, so there was really no time to converse about it, other then commenting that I'm also a fan. Still, a cool encounter!
This was a fun one! A group of high school students came into work tonight for a photography project. The pictures? Two dressed as Spider-Man doing a robbery.

While shopping today I saw a little girl who looked to be about 9 or 10 wearing a The Powerpuff Girls T-shirt (the designs of them on the shirt were fron the original series, not the reboot) I'm surprised a kid in this day and age knows Powerpuff Girls, the reboot series quickly came and went and the original show ended over a decade before she was born. I know it's on HBO Max, but that isn't available in Canada.
