Entries that moved or stunned you

Close if its against the rules and or is redundant.

There have been entries that have stunned me into silence.

This one is from Americans Hate Tingle, Natter but still quite sobering to learn.

• There's also a great amount of bitterness among Indians regarding films set around Britain during World War II. Nearly all such films tend to omit that India was under British rule or even that 2.5 million Indian soldiers fought in the war at all. It makes for more simplistic & exciting storytelling to portray the British as a sole island standing back against the fascistic invading empire, but doing so omits that the UK had an empire of its own that bled in the battles.

This one is made even more stunning by the fact that this just used to say "An empire of its own fighting its battles." I now wonder if an Hindi troper added this and the thought gives me pause.

Same for this entry for Ojamajo Doremi in Tear Jerker.

• If you are a war refugee or a victim of war that lost your family, one of Hazuki's songs, "Mimi wo Sumashite" will make you cry for its lyrics.

Before you roll your eyes at this you should know Ojamajo Doremi's Arabic dub was made in Syria and was extremely popular in the Middle East now I wonder if a Syrian troper wrote this. This might as well be a reality for at least most Syrian people and that just breaks me entirely.

I do know these entries are actually sorta rule breaking so I also hope these entries will survive by being shared here.

Even though I haven't caught up with My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic from about Season 6 onwards and I'm not sure if I ever plan to binge watch them, Starlight Glimmer's character page hits me personally sometimes, I resonate with some of her struggles.

To provide a small sample so I don't angst too much, here's this sentence off an example for The Resenter.

I meant they arent kosher as actual entries but are okay to share here so they survive even if they are removed.

The page image for Franchise.Blues Clues goes unbelievably hard. It's oddly beautiful in a way.
