Any advice for finding media threads?

Obviously, making duplicate threads for media entries is a terrible idea. On the other hand, the search is useless. There's no way to narrow it down to thread titles, so any name that uses a remotely common word (Control comes to mind) is basically impossible to find. And it's not like using a google search makes it any easier. <_>

Maybe we should have an easily editable thread directory in an Administrivia/ page or some link in the work page's description? I assume it could make things more engaging or convenient.

Waaaaay back, I think in the Fast Eddie days, there was a proposal to link media threads with work pages so they'd show up on the top bar alongside the subpages (back when discussion pages were also listed up there). That might be a bit advanced, though.

In the Fast Eddie days, the forum search used to be specifically for searching titles, but not only was it replaced with a more generic search it's not particularly useful even for that.

^^I don't think that is logistically feasible - the forums are huge.

^Aye, there was such a proposal back then. Maybe it's time to resurrect the "forum thread link from discussion" concept.
