...I don't know what surprises me more. The fact Naoya managed to reach 6th place when his entire character can be summed up as "Sexist Douchebag", or the fact Miwa ranked so low.

Miwa hasn't had a speaking appearance in a good hundred chapters or so. It's kind of understandable that people would forget about her.

Doesn't this account for the surge in popularity brought on by the anime though? If so, anime viewers should at least put her more towards the middle.

I'm all for excusing douchebaggery if it's done by a pretty face, but Naoya's version of it so petty and ordinary.

Like, you know a dickface like him IRL and you try to avoid them as much as possible (IIRC Gege based him on an actual acquantance?)

Naoya is more boring to me than anything, a sexist repeat jobber not even his face can make up for it not does he have a charming personality . I might have lost some of my affection for Sukuna since he switched bodies but at least he owns whatever scene he's in.

Honestly the part that surprises me the most is that Sukuna didn´t manage to get into the top10.

Its a shame cause he's a waste of a character who is a genuine speedster.

You don't see that much and he was basically just there for Maki to flex on.

Yeah, I really do like Naoya's technique. It's one of the more creative ones Gege has come up with imo

If we're talking about weird popularity, Inumaki beating Maki even though he hasn't done anything in ages is much weirder.

I know Japan likes their white haired characters, but he isn't a Gojo, Hitsugaya or even a Gin. How does he do it?!

A lot of people tend to forget that woman read Shonen too, especially if the men are attractive. And given JJK has a huge ass reputation for pretty males, its not hard to put two and two together.

In volume 23, Gege corrected the date of the meeting between Kenjaku and the foreign leaders, which took place in September instead of February (thus fixing the plot hole in Sukuna's recordings)

Also, he had initially thought about having Maki infiltrate the soldiers

I'm not really feeling this final confrontation tbh. Compared to other instances of "the strongest duke it out" in battle shonen, this one feels like a lot of talk and not much action to show for it. Like, sure, I believe you that what they're doing with domains is super impressive and beyond what anyone thought possible, can we move on now?

Yeah theres just too much commentary right now which just feels distracting from the fight itself.

Also, Hakari appears to have regenerated his hand. We never really saw it clearly in previous chapters but this latest chapter clearly shows him with 2 hands.

But Inumaki is still missing his hand and it's treated like it's permanently gone.

I think previous chapters have said that limb regeneration is difficult but still possible with reverse curse technique.

Could be an art error, Gege has been complaining about how they keep forgetting to draw scars or not to draw Yuji's missing finger and ear.

The best part of this fight was the start because it was pretty much straight action with the 2 flinging each other through the city and throwing buildings at the other.

But now its being bogged down by endless commentary by the peanut gallery and the constant (and failing) attempts to use DE on the other.

I see Gege will be fueling the Fraudkuna memes for a while with this chap, now he's called for mom as well. Good counter from Gojo.

Chapter 234: Did I miss something, or did Gojo just make a giant mistake? If Megumi's shikigami transfer their powers to his other shikigami upon death...won't Mahoraga just get deer's healing abilities? I guess one target is easier to destroy than two, but still...

So the new chapter spoilers are out and...it's Gojover, y'all.

Gojo gets a lengthy scene of him conversing with several dead characters, including Geto and Nanami, and the last shot is him laying on the ground, dead, with blood all over his mouth.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!

I don't know???

Almost the entire chapter is just Gojo having an afterlife conversation with people, we don't actually see what Sukuna did to him yet.
