17. It has the same problem as the current, that if you don't know what the trope is about and not familiar with manga to begin with, the image doesn't help understanding it at all. 13 is the best so far, but I agree that it's still weak.

It's clear the process of showing Doujinshi is going to be too difficult to properly demonstrate, so how about a collage of doujinshi works instead?

Again, that doesn't show in any way how it's different from any other manga. It's no improvement over 2 which at least has a Doujinshi label on it, whatever that represents.

My 2c is that I would rather have any of these suggestions over no pic. The title is a non-English word so I'd rather have something that gets it part of the way, even if it's not 100% illustrative.
