There’s a novel out there called “Ride, Sally, Ride”, which is currently being adapted into a movie as well.
The concept is, frankly, ridiculous: it’s set decades into the future and features a Gary Stu-ish Christian college student who runs his neighbor’s sex robot through a trash compactor and is subsequently charged with a hate crime. Kind of like God’s Not Dead meets Blade Runner. The author is a Christian Reconstructionist named Doug Wilson who has a cult-like following out of Moscow, Idaho, and also hosts a series on Amazon Prime.
I have not read this book and have no plans to, but it seems like the kind of thing that might be of interest to TV Tropers who specialize in bad media.
